"Mother. The time has drawn near...The dragon is ready." The father said bowing to her.

"Good, retrieve him. By any means" she said placing a cold pale hand on his cheek and raising him to his feet. "Yes, mother. HOUSE!" He called in an instant all members of the house appeared behind him giving a variation of a bow.

"We leave now." He said opening a portal and leading them through.

Starion watched through the scope of his sniper as Void dropped the unconscious body of Marjin on the floor.

It all happened so fast, Akira had separated the teammates but no one followed him as he ran for cover

"Truly an incredible technique! Void using the heat of his hands to dehydrate his opponents for non-lethal takedowns, It really shows fire isn't just about destroying!" Professor Port said

"Indeed incredible to think if the extra brackets of contestants weren't made and  Void hadn't announced he wouldn't be using a sword we wouldn't see such creativity in combat!" Doctor Oobleck said excitedly.

Void sighed brushing his locs from his face before turning to a tree. Well, that's what spectators saw at least in reality.

Void was staring Starion down straight through the scope of his sniper. Slowly he raised his hand before pointing between his eyebrows mouthing

"Make. It. Count"

Starion gasped. His heartbeat quickened, his hands trembling and became slick with sweat.  He was panicking, he squeezed with all his strength.

And his heart plummeted into his stomach. The shot missed. And Void shook his head before giving a cutthroat signal.

Starion panicked as a bowstring wrapped around his neck "You should've just forfeited..." Akira whispered before flipping over, Starion off the branches causing him to crash into the ground below leaving him. Completely unconscious.

"TEAM VAIN WINS!" The announcement was met with roaring cheers throughout the stadium as team VAIN regrouped.

"Nice job on holding back," Nami said stretching "No sense in going all out, we're moving to the next round so we need to talk strategies"

He started as they left the stage "I think I should drop out of this round" Akira said, "you sure babe?" Noaki questioned. She nodded and smiled "My semblance would slow Nami and you down and doesn't provide any tactical advantage in a duo setting" she said smiling.

"In that case... I'll sit out too" Nami said as they reached the fairgrounds "Huh? How come?" Void questioned

"Because you two have been talking about your special move together may as well give you both the spotlight" she said.

"Aw yeah! Weren't about to burn it down!" Noaki said earning a laugh from the group.

"Well well well if it ain't our dear cappin" the familiar voice caused team VAIN to perk up in joy.

"Miss Abby!" Akira said as they approached her stand "Tabby I didn't expect you to be here..." Void said still at the bar the rest of the gang following suit "Aw come own boss we wouldn't miss you kicking ass" she said poor some drinks for them "heh well thank you...wait we?" He questioned just as he did some emerged from the back fixing his hair

"Baby you see where Orphila ran off to...Boss!?" He asked surprised as he saw Void. "JAX?!" Void responded standing up just in time to dap up the black-haired male.

"Been sometime boss" he said smiling. "It has. Oh let me introduce you this is Noaki Yasui" he started making Noaki smirk and wave "Next to him is Akira Tanabe" she gave a small nod and smile "and this is Izanami Koda"
