You opened your eyes and yawned, it was a good sleep last night! After stretching, you decided to go make breakfast, you got up, got dressed, and made eggs.
"Mm!" You said, happy with your meal. You were watching the news as this was happening, seeing headlines about the "Blue Blur" saving the island once again. You weren't really phased with his accomplishments. You've really heard about him every day, it gets boring after a while.
After making breakfast, you went back to the fridge to check on the foodstuffs. It was almost empty. You sighed to yourself. 'I'll run to town real quick.' You thought to yourself. You grabbed your bag, put on your shoes, and headed out.
~Time skip to town~
You were walking in the market, picking out any snacks and food that looked appealing to you. It has been a while since you went shopping, anyways. Why not get some snacks? It took a while, since you went on a spree, but finally the numbers we're counted to 50$. You payed for the items and walked out the store.
While you were walking in town, you walked by the electronics store and saw a yellow fox struggling to hold all of his items. You walked up to him. "Hey, do you need any help?" You asked the fox, the fox let out a grunt and said "Oh, I wouldn't want to bother you! I got it!" You saw him looking a bit embarrassed. "It's okay, I insist!" You said, holding your hands out. "Well, if you insist.." The fox said lowering half of the electronics onto your hands. The weight of it made you struggle to hold. "Here, just this way!" The fox said, now happy. You walked with him, and you were surprised when you saw.. An airplane? You looked up at it in awe. "Alrighty! Here we go!" The fox said, throwing the items into the storage compartment of the thing. "Did you make this yourself?" You said, amazed at his exotic choice of transportation. "Oh, this? Yea, it took a while to build!" You looked back at the plane then back at him. You got the courage to finally say: "Could I go in it?" The fox's face looked surprised. "Huh, nobody's ever been this interested in it before!" He said, smiling. He put his hand out. "I'm Miles Prower! But you can call me Tails." You looked at his hand then back at him. He looked at you sheepishly. "Y-You don't have to shake my hand if you-" "No no!" You cut him off. "It's fine, my name's Y/N." You said, politely allowing the handshake.
"That's a cool name!" Tails said. You smiled back at him, it's been a while since someone has complimented your name. "Anyways, you can come inside to take a look, if you're comfortable, I can take you for a fly!" Tails said. Your eyes immediately glowed up. "Yes! I would love to!" You said. "Great them, come on in!" Tails said. You got up into the passenger seat and looked around. "Wow! I like your choice of propellers, but the fuel must be heavy." You said. Tails' eyes glistened. "You know about airplanes too..?" He said. "Yea! I studied them for an aerodynamics course." You said. "Wow! I've never met someone who liked airplanes!" Tails said, overjoyed. "I can help you make a cleaner substitute fuel, if you'd like." You said. "Okay! But first, I have to introduce you to my friends, is that alright with you?" Tails said, wagging his tails. (That's a tongue twister, try to say that 5 times fast.) "Yes, that's great! But we should hurry before any bugs get on my food." You said. "Oh yes, you can put your food in the fridge!" Tails turned on the plane engine, accelerated, and before long, you were in the air.
