GOODBYE LETTER

GOODBYE LETTER.

It felt like yesterday that Y/n and I were hugging in her old room.

Almost six days have past since that day. Now here we are in Myah's room. It's 4:28 P.M. which means we're down to our last three hours.

Mason is finishing a drawing for Denki that he won't be able to take back with him, but at least Denk's can remember it.

Myah is on the bed with Ejirou, looking like she's squeezing the life out of him, which she probably is by the look on his face.

Meanwhile Denki is sound asleep next to them, and I'm on the floor with all the dogs. Zuko and Katara are fighting, again.

And I'm fine with that because they're too distracted biting their ears off to notice how much I'm favoring Sokka over them.

Well, not only Sokka, but Dynamight as well. Then there's Korra who'll sleep through her puppies jumping on her. I envy that about her.

I'm going to miss the dogs, along with their watery kisses.

I'm going to miss Y/n's kisses too.

I don't know what'll become of me, without her—I mean I can't come back and visit, again, later because for starters I'll ruin her relationships, again.

Also, the most I age at the end of the anime is 32. If I come back too late or too early, Y/n might be too young, or she'll be—

"DEAD! That's what I'll be when you leave me!" Myah says. I jump a little, startled by her loud voice.

Mason and Ejirou hush her not to wake Denk's up. I wonder if Myah will forget about us this time. I don't want her to. I want to stay part of her and Mason's childhood forever.

"You two better not forget us." I say.

My back is to her, but when I turn around I see she's lunging at me. The dogs scatter and Myah slams on top of me, pulling my hair.

"Ain't nobody forgetting you! Stupid moron! I remembered you didn't I?"

"I was only joking!" I laugh and wince at the same time due to her hitting my head against the floor repeatedly. I'm lucky this won't cause me any harm–maybe like a one minute migraine but that's it.

Ejirou tells her to calm down, but she doesn't listen so he crawls closer to the edge of the bed. His foot accidentally slips and he kicks Denki in the face, waking him up.

Denk's must've gave him a really nasty look because Ejirou scrambles away and ends up falling on Myah and I.

When his knee digs into my thigh I almost throw them off of me. Mason looks over, seeing Denki up, and glares at the rest of us.

I get up and step away from them. Myah and Ejirou also get on their feet. Then the arguing starts.

They're a little too loud that Izuku and Raven walk in, asking what's going on. Mason complains about us waking Denki up, which leads into an fight between him and Myah.

I walk out of the room and close the door to mute them out.

In the kitchen, I sit at the island, staring at the glass of water in front of me when someone taps my shoulder. I turn to see Izuku. He sits in the chair next to me. We sit together in silence for a few minutes.

"Do you ever just miss how it was before?" He speaks up.

I turn to see the expression on his face.

"Miss my youth? The innocence of believing in miracles? I miss that all the time now." I tell him.

"Would you ever do drugs?"

I grab my water and take a sip.

"What kind of question is that? Do you know how–"

"What about alcoho–"

"Izuku, I'm not putting anything unhealthy into my body. If you're asking me these things because you want me to do them with you, I refuse your offer. You shouldn't do those things either. Now stop being depressed."

There's a moment of ringing emptiness before he laughs at my words and pats my back.

"The others will be down in a second. We're supposed to sign a goodbye letter or something."

"Was it Myah's idea?"

He nods yes to my question.

Soon enough I hear a stampede approaching. Myah stands in between us and slams a card and pen on the table.

Ejirou and Denki have already signed it. Even though it's only just a piece of paper with words on it, I feel that signing it would signify a permanent goodbye.

I watch Izuku pick up the pen and begin to scribble words down.

Before he can finish, a breeze which blows everyone's hair back, catches our attention.

There in the corner of the living room appears the large, dark, misty entrance that'll take us back to our reality.
