It was finally the first day of school. My sister and I are going to Weschester Academy, a preppy school for rich kids. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and frowned. I looked so stupid. I hate how I don't have the freedom to where whatever I want to school. I sighed then grabbed my bag and walked down the stairs to the kitchen. Marsha was sitting on the barstool with a tablet in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. She looked up when she saw me come into the kitchen.
" Good morning love. I'm so sorry I haven't had much time to spend with you and your sister before school started. I wanted to see you guys off before I go to work. I'm in town for two days but will be going to Italy for a designers convention. Maria, one of the house keepers, will tend to the house while I am away. Darius is on a business trip and will be returning on Thursday. If you need to ask me any questions, my number is on the fridge." She said with a smile. Her blue eyes were bright behind the glasses she was wearing.
"Uh thanks." I said as I placed my bag down. I waited patiently for my sister and Cadee to come downstairs. As I was eating my bowl of cereal, I couldn't help but think about the guy from the party and how he had an effect on my body. I was still trying to understand but I couldn't.
"Goooooddddd morninggg!" Cadence said as she came into the kitchen. When she saw her mom, she was shocked.
"Mom, I thought you were leaving for Italy this morning?" She asked.
"Well I was going to but I wanted to see you girls off to your new year of school." Marsha said.
"Ah." Cadee said as she grabbed herself a cup of coffee.
Marsha and Cadee were talking about Cadee's summer in Paris when my sister finally walked in.
"Morning!" She said with a cheerful smile.
My sister wouldn't be herself if she didn't have on a pair of heels. She always wore heels to school back home. So things will never change I guess. I looked at Cadee and noticed that she was wearing heels as well.
Figures.
"Well girls, you should head on out. I know you have to pick up Stella, Cadence." Marsha said.
Cadee nodded and grabbed her purse.
"Have a safe trip mom." Cadee said as she hugged her mom.
"Will do honey. Take care of your cousins, ok." Marsha says.
Cadee nods then starts heading for the door. Drea follows behind her. Before I left I said bye to Marsha.
The ride to school was loud. All Drea, Cadee and Stella were talking about was the party. I was silent, as usual. When we finally got to the school, I wasn't shocked to see the type of cars the students were driving. I saw BMW's, Mercedes', Range Rover's, Bugatti's...who the hell gets their teenager an expensive ass car???
