"Good morning."

Rosa stilled on her place as she looked through her shoulders and her surprised eyes turned into one of her nasty glare as she found Vedika at the doorway before she returned back to the job in her hand. Vedika cocked one of her eyebrows at the response Rosa gave upon her nice friendly greeting. Her eyes moving from her to the two man sitting on the table with breakfast in front of them. Roman seemed to lazily ignore everyone else presence and Enzo looked at her way with boredom.

The only who smiled at her was Gabby near the stove. At least she found a friendly face in the villa because judging by the three people in the villa excluding the thief, they seemed to find her presence absurd. Who was she? Donald Trump?

"What is so good about this morning?" Rosa scoffed when Vedika had thought that she was going to ignored.  Enzo snickered and Vedika glared at his back. "Well, it could have been good if I had said good morning to you, Rosa. I had greeted Gabby, right Gabby?" She remarked walking inside the kitchen and settling on the stool in front of Roman. His eyes had softened when they had looked at her way as Vedika internally sucked in a breath.

Gabby flushed red when she looked at her direction and Vedika winked at her. She caught Roman's eyes, staring at her and out of all the sudden, embarrassment spun into her veins but all she could do was pass Roman a small smile but he didn't returned her gestured thus, rather than sitting on the stool, Vedika got up to do something more productive.

"What are you doing?" Rosa grumbled, the hot spatula in her hand coming to touch Vedika's skin but she was fast enough to back away from the old-woman. "Rosa," Enzo's voice laced with warning but Rosa turned her back on him. Vedika stared at Rosa blankly, grasping that whatever Rosa was about to do wasn't unintentional.

"Answer my question, will you?" She snapped.

"I'm preparing myself a breakfast," she informed, choosing to move away from Rosa for her own safety. "You can cook too?" Rosa filled in her voice with shock. Her eyebrows stretched up in a way she was meant to mock and insult the latter in front of Abhimanyu's two of the restricted and respect upper soldiers. "I thought you are only good in pushing everyone's buttons," she added.

"Mostly it is the other way around, woman. You know that was what people were good at in my in-laws house but then something terrible happened. My ex-husband one day met with an horrible accident where he slipped into a heiress vagina... probably he is still stuck there."

She could hear someone gasping from the corner of the kitchen and a falling of a spatula with a clink. Side-glancing to where the sound had come, she saw Gabby looking horrified with mouth parted in shock and eyes wide. Strange silence stretched in the kitchen. The chopping of vegetables Rosa was doing had gone still. Gabby looked paralysed and puzzled she turned to see the reason behind the silence.

Her body seemed to be stilled with black marble floor as if they became one. The pupils in her eyes diluting as they grew wider and even then, she stood with her chin held high above to match the seething eyes of his. Silence and submission were the things he got from his workers as looked at her and then him but what was alarming was that he had his mismatched fixed on her. His shoulder leaning against the door while he watched, probably thinking how to drain the life out of her.

"Good Morn—"

"I want everyone out," he ordered, leaving no room for disobedience even if his voice was calm. Rosa slammed her lips together at how her boss had cut off her words before she could even complete yet she had no courage to say anything to her employer. They nodded as they started leaving expect of Roman who kept staring the heartless' back.

"Roman," he gritted.

"Si Capo," Roman answered, almost casually and voice filled with slight mischief. Vedika saw him clenching his jaw together. His eyes shutting close and a vein that throb around his temple.
