Chapter 15: The Future

"Babe, I need to talk to you please." Hunter yelled at me. I was in the bathroom cleaning while he was in the living room watching tv.
"Yes, sweet and loving fiancé." I giggled. I understand he's my fiancé and I'm about to marry him, but I don't know. I'm weird.
"So, are you still working at the lawyers office?" He asked. that was a retarded question.
"Yes, wait what is this conversation about exactly?" I asked
"Our future, like if we want to move, or how many kids we want, a budget, basically all the shit married couples worry about."
"That's the jar, you just cussed." I laughed at him. If I haven't mentioned it, Hunter and I have a swear jar for if we cuss we owe a dollar. Hunter got up and put the dollar in the jar.
"Now, be serious. We need a budget." Hunter exclaimed. I've never seen him be so serous in a conversation.
"Well, groceries are around five hundred dollars each month. the light bill is around seventy. The water bill is around eighty, and the gas bill is around fifty. So, that's around a thousand dollars we need to set a side for bills, and groceries." I shrug.
"Have you always been thinking about this?"
"Yes, that's what girls do." I chuckled. He acts like we've never met before.
"Well, when we start our family you can quit your job, because I have a job that pays more than I deserve, especially since I've been there for a couple years, and I know you want to be a stay at home mom."
"When that bridge comes we'll cross it. For now let's just focus on everything that's happening and us."
"Yes, darling."
"Since I have your attention, who's planning your bachelor party?" I asked him. The bachelor and bachelorette parties are coming up just around the corner.
"Bryan, who else?" He questioned. He's right. No one could ever be planning this besides Bryan.
"Well, since Megan is preggers, she can't do it. I think the next option is Sky." I tell him.
"What is she having?"
"A boy, Steven Jr.."
"How did she tell him?"
"She took him to a movie and before the movie started she paid to have it on the big screen. Someone videotaped and his face was priceless, he cried."
"Wimp." Hunter picks at what I told him.
"That's mean." I scold him. Even with his playful grin I can't be angry at him for long. This is why I fell in love with him. His attitude and how he handles life. The way we met amazes me too. I went from hating him in college to loving him, can life be anymore random?
"Now that we're talking about kids and the future, how many do you want?" He asked me.
"A lot. I'm never getting my tubes tied and if God blesses me with them I'll raise them." I tell him truly. We never really talk about this. It has never came up.
"However many you want, is what you will get. Your wish is my command." He jokes and I laugh.
"When we were dating, what did you think when I had the miscarriage?" Yes I have had a miscarriage. I cried myself to sleep for so many nights. I pushed away everyone, especially Hunter. I didn't want to see him. Ignored all his calls, ignored all his text, even ignored him when he started to try to talk to me at college, that was hard cause the only thing I wanted to do was crawl in his arms and cry.
"I didn't blame you, like you think I did. I wanted to help you past it and cope with it. It devastated me when you talked to everyone but me. Thank goodness you did, right?" He asked.
"Right." I kiss his lips.
"Pretty soon we'll have little babies and you won't know what hit you." he says as he lifts me up to sit on his hips.As he lays back on the couch, I lay my head down on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat.
"I hope they end up just like you." I whisper, as he rubs soothing circles on my back.
"They'll have all your perfectness, mixed with my gorgeousness."
"Of course they will." I kiss him one more time and I'm close to falling asleep when I hear Hunter whisper one more thing.
"I will love you forever, and always. Through the good, the bad, and the ugly. I want you forever.Forever and always." he kisses my forehead.
"Forever and always." I promise not only him, but me.

Author's Note
They had an adorable moment. The words he whispered are from Forever and always by Parachute, awesome and sad song. I cried after listening to it. Anyways sorry for not updating. summer will be here and hopefully this book is done I'll start the sequel, maybe, then I start my other books. Hope your weekend is safe and fun.
