Chapter-7

Shinichiro's pov:

It was already obvious that there was a complicated past between Kodo Rengo and Ragnarok but I didn't realise it was that complicated. The way the Ragnarok captains talked about Kodo Rengo and Wakasa when they were debating about my plan made it obvious that they knew Wakasa before the rivalry between the two gangs started.

y/n had surprisingly voted in my favour and I was happy that she did at the time but now I realise that I should have first thought about how exactly I will get any information about Kodo Rengo.

I spent an entire day sitting at home, trying to think of a plan. Then I realised, that past me would have gone to Akashi for any advice, and since I am in the past right now (and since he is alive), I can go to him. So, I leave the house in a hurry, ignoring Manjiro asking me where I was going.

I run to Akashi's house and ring the doorbell multiple times in a hurry. Akashi opens the door with an annoyed look, he is about to start shouting but stops when he sees that it's me.

He sighs, "Hello Shinichiro", he steps aside to let me in

"Hi, I need your help" I start speaking before I even step in "How do I get information about Kodo Rengo?"

Akashi gives me a look that seems like a mixture of confusion and worry "dude," he sighs, "What are you trying to do?" he says it in the sassy way I remember hearing from past Akashi and I start smiling without realising.

"I took your advice, now help me defeat Kodo Rengo"

"Umm oh-kayyy" He thinks for a while before speaking "Calm down and sit for a moment and tell me everything"

"You told me to defeat Kodo Rengo so Ragnarok could be the most powerful gang, I took your advice. I went to the Ragnarok meeting and told the captains that I could help them defeat Kodo Rengo and they agreed to go through with my plan, the thing is, I don't have a plan"

"So you need to get information on Kodo Rengo that could help you defeat them?" He asks

"Yes. Something that could help us take them by surprise, the Ragnarok members will handle the rest of the fighting part" I reply

"And since I obviously don't know anyone in Kodo Rengo, nor do I have any information, how am I involved in this?" He asks

"I didn't ask you to give me any information, I just need you to tell me how to get the information" I tell him.

"I don't know. Go talk to the leader of Kodo Rengo or something"

I am about to tell him to give me actual advice but it hits me that he isn't wrong. Who else would I get information from, if not the leader of Kodo Rengo himself?

I immediately get up and start to leave, shouting a thank you before opening the door. "Where are you going?" Akashi asks worriedly.

"To talk to Wakasa" I simply reply and step out the door, but I hear him whisper "You have to stop taking everything I say so seriously" before I leave.
