The greatest loves of all time
Were always tinged red with stop signs read as passionate streaks
The stories of a lifetime
End with climaxes shaded scarlet with blood stains and infidelity
The ones for the tales
Are crimson coated calamities soaked in hard sangria and unchastity
The affairs sans pareil
Are the ones whispered over merlot by lips coated carmine and berry
So let's make our lineage turn in their graves with unease
Paint a bright maroon smudge on slowly yellowing sheets
Ink our time as folklore, paint it a front page feature scene
Leave a splotch of burgundy just to taint good history
Take my ruby ringed hands, dripping sin shamelessly
And I'll show you what it feels like, this sacred intimacy, to feed infidelity
