When Courtney opened the front door to her house we were attacked by her 5 year old twin brothers, Jacob and Samuel. Courtney and I fake screamed when they clutched onto our legs. We tryed to shake them off but they just wouldn't budge, its like they were made of stone or something.

"Alright boys thats enough let the girls go and go clean your room now." Courtney's mother commanded with a stricked but sweet tone in her voice.

We went into Courtney's room to find something to wear for the party tonight. Courtney had a walk in closet with millions of shirts, jackets, shoes, pants, skirts, and accessories. Everytime I come over to her house there's always at least one new outfit in the closet. I couldn't believe how many clothes Courtney had but then again I'm not the clothes loving girl like she is.

Courtney started going through the clothes to find something for me to wear. I always let her pick out my outfit when we go out since I think a t-shirt, skinny jeans, and sneakers is good for a party but apparently its not in Courtney's mind.

"How about this for you?" Courtney held a black strapless mini dress with a sliver belt. I looked at her with my famous 'are you kinding me' face. She held her hands up in surrender.

"A simple no would've been just fine other than that look." Courtney put the dress back and started searching for something else. Its not that I didn't like the dress its just that it was December and I didn't feel like freezing my ass off.

"Okay how about this instead?" This time she held up a strapless navy blue silk top, dark wash skinny jeans, black heels and a tan colored jacket. I smiled and nodded in approval.

"Thank heavens, I thought this was gonna take all night." I laughed and threw a jacket at her. In just a few seconds we found ourselves on the floor laughing our heads off until we couldn't breathe.

"Girls time for dinner, get down here now please." We quickly stopped laughing because we knew Courtney's mom would come and drag us out by our ears if we didn't get down there right away so we quickly rushed down the steps to the dining room.

"Where are Jake and Sam?" Courtney looked at her mother with a curiosity in her eyes. I to was wondering the same thing but didn't want to ask. "They went to their friend's house for a sleepover and your dad and I are going out tonight so I'm guessing you two are going out as well?" Courtney's mom glanced up from her plate waiting for either one of us to reply.

"Yes, we are going to a party tonight if that's alright with you?" I didn't know why Courtney even asked her mother that. She knows that her mother will say yes as long as we came home before curfew.

"Of course its alright with me and your father as long as your home by three." And shocker I was right again.

While we were eating Courtney's phone buzzed. I could see from the corner of my eye that it was a text from Ky but I couldn't read what it said

"Courtney no phones at the table." Her dad said without even looking up from his plate. She apologized and put her phone in her pocket.

"What did Ky say?" I whispered while leaning over a little bit so she could hear me better. I noticed her parents were starring at me from the corner of their eyes which made me feel uncomfortable so I quickly straighten up and started eating again. I've known Mrs and Mr. Johnson ever since I was little and for some reason I've never felt completely myself around them but they loved me like I was their daughter.

"He said he's bringing you so you won't feel left out with Zac not going and all." I looked up from my plate trying to absorb the information I just heard. Ky knows I hate when Courtney, Zac, and him try setting me up with someone that I don't even know until the last minute why on earth did he do that?

"Did he say who it is?" I whispered to Courtney again leaning over in my chair and this time I didn't care if her parents were starring at me, I needed to know who the hell this dude is and I need to know now.

"He wouldn't tell me he said it was a surprise. " I scowled at Courtney's answer and turned back to my plate without another word. I hate when Ky tries to surprise me he knows I dont like surprises.

After we were done eating we got dressed and did our hair and makeup. Sadly I was forced to wear makeup because Courtney wanted me to look extra hot for 'blind date'. Courtney literally tackled me and tried putting mascara on but thanks to 6 years of tennis I managed to over power her but let her put my makeup on anyway after a while.

"Alright what do you think?" I turned around to look at Courtney's outfit. She was wearing a white tanktop, black leggings, black ankle boots and the black leather jacket she was wearing before. Its not hard to tell that her favorite color was black. I nodded in approval of her outfit and she jumped with joy.

The doorbell rung and we quickly rushed downstairs to answer it. We checked in the mirror for a last minute look and Country then opened the door. My smile dropped when I saw Ky and the guy who was my date. The guy I hated the most, Wesley Chapel.
