During the day, Lance was in a large bathtub as many servants cleansed him and made sure all the dirt and smell was off him. He never knew how filthy he was since he sees the water darken a little as dirt and filth came off him.
"We better make sure he's perfectly clean." A fox servant says as she puts more shampoo on his hair.
"Yeah, or the Empress won't be happy." A dragon servant says as she scrubs his back more.
After he was bathed nicely, he was then taken to the dressing room, while Empress Lola chooses what formal clothing he should wear.
"Hmm, I think this is best for you." She says as she gave the clothes to the servants.
He was groomed dressed and looked well cleansed and mannered that he was finally taken to the royal dinning room where there was a long table with many royal nobles, including Carlos and The Empress sitting at the far end.
It was nerve wrecking for Lance but the servants kindly helped him sit down at the far end facing the Empress. Carlos never liked the idea of letting him be part of the furry society and wanted to do something, but had no authority to remove him.
As the cooks arrived, they was many plates of good food that was set on the table and Lance's stomach was growling already. Lola kindly asked one of the servants to serve Lance a full plate of meat, mash potatoes, gravy ,and veggies.

Everyone started eating and Lance didn't hesitate since he never had rich kind of food before and it was a delicacy for him. Empress Lola smiled as she sees him enjoying it. Some of the the nobles chuckled a little as well. Carlos rolls his eyes in disgust, but ignores him while he eats.
Meanwhile, in the other side of the wall where the human kingdom is. The King of Humanity was thinking about making peace with the furry kingdom. King Nicolas was the name, he just became the next king after his father King Charles died by the black plague. His father never liked the furry race at all but Nicolas thought other wise.
