The Magical Stone

Chapter 11

Lance saw the skull sisters in disguise and was ready to fight them again as the power of the magical stone awakened inside him.

"You think you will get away with making us a laughing stock?!" Vera shouted as she drank half of the potion of strength before giving it to her sister.

"You will fucking pay for that, you little brat." Tara added as cracked her knuckles after drinking the rest of the potion.

Lance feared them a little, but stood up against them with his armor-covered fists and his emotion of bravery. He saw Vera coming at him with a right hook. Lance dodged fast before her fist collided into the stone wall. He was shocked that Vera wasn't even hurt when she broke part of the stone wall with her fist.

"You think this fight will be easy for you this time? Think again!" Vera shouted as she tried to hit him again.

He got hit in the stomach and his armor got barely dented by the impact. Vera was about to hit him again, but Lance countered the attack and punched Vera hard in the snout that she fell on her back with blood oozing out of her nose. Tara growled in anger and tackled Lance down the small steps of the towel. Lance got up and threw Tara into a weapon shelf.

Lance stood his stance and heard Vera coming down the steps from the tower and was about to hit him from behind. He jumped out of the way and tripped her that she fell on a table that it broke apart by the impact

"You are really pissing me off!" Vera shouted as she got back up fast and picked up a sword from the destroyed weapon display and swung it at him. Lance pulled his sword out and clashed swords with her. Vera swings her sword at him to make him stumble, but Lance keeps his balance and keeps swinging his sword at her.

"What's wrong? Scared to sword fight with me? You should've stayed with your kind on the other side of the wall!" Vera taunted as she kept swinging her sword aggressively at him.

Lance then found an opening, and slashed her into the torso. Vera screamed in agony as she was bleeding deeply by the slash. Tara got back on her feet and grabbed a mace and hit Lance in the side with rage in retaliation for her sister. Lance falls on his side as part of the armor breaks apart by the impact but still stands up against her.

"That's it! We were going to let you live afterwards, but you fucking crossed the line! I will fucking kill you!" Tara says with rage as she keeps swinging the mace at him mercilessly.

Lance kept dodging and dodging from the swings coming at him. Lance picked his sword and stabbed Tara in her left thigh deep enough that it exited through the back of her leg. Tara screamed in pain as she collapsed to the floor and dropped the mace. He tried to catch his breath as he felt his power inside him was fading away a little by exhaustion.

Vera then grabs Lance and slams him on the wall and bashes him a few times to stop him from struggling. Lance tried to fight back but the magical stone is unexpecting fading away and he became weak. She pulled a small dagger out and put it close to his neck.

"Any last words?" She asked.

Lance spat on her face as a response which pissed off Vera even more and was about to execute him. Just then, Shelia came to his rescue and grabbed Vera's arm and broke her wrist instantly that made drop the dagger. Lance fell down unconscious to the floor that made Shelia went full on rage on Vera. She grabbed by the throat and slammed her on the floor, and broke her other arm instantly.

Vera screamed in agony and was terrified of Shelia and was physically tortured as she was getting brutally beaten down by her non-stop. Shelia kept hitting her in the face more than 15 times and her face started to deform and started to lose vision in her left eye by the blows she received.

Shelia then stopped hitting her in the face and pulled out her battle ax from her back and was about to execute her. Vera begged for mercy but Shelia didn't listen to her since she attempted to kill a child that looks up to Shelia as a mother. She then swings the ax down as it penetrates deeply in Vera's chest to finish her off.

"NOOO!" Tara screamed in bloody murder as she tried to crawl away after she witnessed her sister get brutally executed. Shelia went to Tara next and grabbed her by the throat. Tara started to cry and begged for mercy.

"You think you can get away with trying to kill my human child?!" Shelia asked in an angry tone as she tightened her grip around him as she slammed her in the wall.

Tara struggled to breathe and she was being constantly struggled by Shelia's tight grip. Her anger grew as she finally snapped her neck and dropped her body.

Shelia's anger vanished as she went to Lance with worry and concern. She checked his heart rate and it was normal and was breathing normally. She picked her up and took him to the infirmary immediately while she alerted the team about the incident.

Later,during the day. Most of the nobles and knights of the castle got suspicious of how the skull sisters were running freely while impersonated as knights. Carlos was in a hell of a position, and was feared that he could be busted for making a deal with the skull sisters behind everyone's back just to get Lance for the magical stone that is still inside him. Luckily for him, no one got suspicious of him since everyone assumed that the skull sisters tried to escape the castle while impersonating as knights to escape and thought Lance tried to be the hero.

Lance was resting in the infirmary as he recovers from the physical injuries he had during the fight with the skull sisters. Shelia sat next to him and never wanted to leave till he woke up. Lucinda, Lindsey, and Tina were worried as well, but they have faith that Lance will be okay.

Shelia held his hand tightly just hoping that Lance would wake up soon as possible.
