During the night, Tina, Lindsey, and Lucinda headed back to the Knight quarters after a long day patrolling the kingdom.
"God. What a Boring day patrolling the village." Lindsey says as she drops her helmet on the table.
"True. I do want a day off tomorrow." Lucinda says as she sits down on the chair.
"I bet Shelia is asleep right now." Tina says as she peeks through the door.
"Oh, look do we have here?" She says with a smirk.
"What is it?" Lucinda asks with interest.
"Shelia is finally warming up to Lance. She has him in her arms." Tina says as she closes the door.
"About time. She can't resist how cute that child is." Lindsey says.
"Yeah. I have no doubt the empress does as well." Lucinda added.
"Well, the empress did tell me that we have to watch him tomorrow while she tries to set up a meeting with the human king." Tina says.
"Why's that?" Lindsey asks.
"That there will be coexistence after all." Tina answers.
"Well, I hope because, I just don't understand why humans don't trust us in the first place." Lindsey spoke.
"It's just that they are afraid of us that they think that we will take advantage of them just because we are a little stronger than they are." Tina explains.
"It's just confusing from their part." Lindsey spoke with a disappointing tone.
"Don't worry Lindsey. Just believe in the empress that she will help the humans to learn about us that there will no longer be a wall between us and them anymore." Tina says as she headed to her bedroom.
Lindsey was in deep thought since she remembered trying to mingle with some humans before the wall was built and she never understood why humans are prejudiced just because of difference.
As the sun started to rise for a new day, Lola and some of her trusted advisors headed to the wall's gate to meet up with King Nicolas to find a way to make peace between the two races. While she was gone, the knights had to keep an eye on Lance till she comes back.
Shelia decided to take him outside where the rest of the knights doing their training and exercise and wanted to train him to be a knight.
"Ok runt, since Empress Lola won't be back for a couple of days, I'm going to train you to become a knight." Shelia explains as she takes him to the training grounds.
"I'm going to be a knight?" Lance asked with excitement.
"Hold your horses. If you want to be a knight, The empress have to knight you first. But I'll train you so you can get her approval." Shelia explains.
"Oh, ok."
"I'm going to get some gear for your size. I bet the blacksmith is already done with it. Don't wander off too far, runt."
After Shelia left for a sec, Lance decided to look around and had an interest of a couple female knights were fistfight in a arena.
One of them was a yellow dragon anthro that was seven feet tall and was very strong and in shape. She goes by the name of Emma.

Emma
——————————She was fighting an anthro Fox that is a little shorter than her but Emma gave her brutal blows to the face and finished her opponent off with a brutal uppercut. The Fox fell on her back with a huge thud on the grass and many knights cheered for her victory.
Emma then paused as she saw Lance watching her in the crowd and gave him a curious look.
"So, you must be that human child everyone is talking about." She says as she walked up to him and went down to his level.
Lance got a little scared when she gave him a smirk.
"You are not scared of dragons are you?" She asked.
"Um, no." He says shyly.
"Well. What a kid like you is doing here?" Emma asked.
"Shelia is going to train me to be a knight." He answers.
"What? Our captain training you? Aren't you a little too small and too young?" Emma asked.
"Well, no..."
"Don't deny it. Maybe you do have the confidence anyway." She says as she pinch his cheek a little.
"Can you fly?" Lance asked with curiosity.
"Of course I can fly. This wings aren't for show." She explains.
"That's cool."
"I'll tell you what, you want me to give you a ride to show you around the kingdom?" Emma asked.
"I don't know, I don't want to Shelia to worry since she told me not to wonder off." Lance says.
Shelia then came back with the armor for his size and saw him with Emma.
"Hey Captain." Emma spoke
"Hey Emma. Keeping our new recruit company?" Shelia asked.
"Yep. Is it alright if I give him a ride in the sky since he's curious if I can fly.
"Oh yeah sure. I still need time for his sword to be made. Just keep him out of harms way." Shelia warns.
"Really?" Lance asks with excitement.
"Yep. Just be careful Emma."
"Don't worry captain. Come on newbie." Emma says as she picks him up in her arms.
"You ready?"
Lance nodded yes as she started flapping her wings and started ascending into the sky and Lance watches in amazement as Emma hangs on to him.
"Hang on kiddo." She says as she started flying above the clouds.
Lance did so as they were high above the kingdom and Emma started to descend down a little as she needed to keep watch around the kingdom anyway. She landed on top of a castle watch tower and shows him a great view of the kingdom.
"What do you think of the view?" Emma asked.
"It amazing. You can see everything from here." Lance says.
"Yep. The castle is there and the village, but you can see it all from a distance."Emma explained.
"Now there is more places to see. I show you them before we fly back to the castle grounds. Climb on my back." Emma say as she expands her wings.
Lance climbed on and clasped his arms around her neck to hang on before she jump out of the tower and started flapping her wings as she shows him the best places around the anthro kingdom.
