Lola consoles Lance in her arms as he falls asleep after the power of the magical stone inside him fades away.
"Emma, can you take him back to the knight quarters?" Lola asks.
"Yes, you're grace." She says as she takes him and carries him out of the room.
A couple of other knights carried Clyde's headless body out and cleaned the bloody mess in the room.
"Now, we can all sleep without worry." Lola says as she sits back down on her bed.
After Clyde's death, things started to settle down at both kingdoms as they were ready to start the coexistence ceremony at the fur kingdom in two days without any concerns that could destroy the chances of peace between the two kinds. The human and Fur nobles finally finished their agreements and conditions of the coexistence treaty the next morning. Carlos was a little antsy since Rick was still working on making the replica of the magical stone as powerful as the actual one since he needs to keep Lance from ruining his plans on taking over both kingdoms for himself.
As the nobles finished their meeting, he headed to Rick's home to check on the replica stone's progress.
"How is the stone?" Carlos asked
"It's almost complete, I ran some tests on it and it's almost as powerful as the actual stone." Rick explains as he handed it to him.
"I feel it making me stronger, but we need to hurry so I can be able to prevent that brat from ruining my plans to take over both of the kingdoms. The coexistence ceremony is tomorrow at the Fur kingdom courtyard." Carlos added.
"Don't worry. You will be able to defeat that human brat and overthrow the rulers, but you remember that I will be your right hand man, right?" Rick asked.
"I don't turn back on deals." Carlos says.
"Great. I'll add some more strength potions into it. That might be what it needs." Rick says as he places the replica stone back into a container.
"Get it done." Carlos says as he leaves.
Meanwhile, the girls were shocked about what happened last night. Lance was still tired as he was still resting in his room and they didn't want to disturb him. Shelia was surprised and proud about him saving the empress from being assassinated in her sleep and proved his heroic actions.
"I'm proud that he did what a real knight would do." Shelia says as she drank some wine from her mug.
"You are the one that trained him constantly." Tina says as she smiles.
"I'm excited about the coexistence ceremony tomorrow. Finally peace between us and humanity. Are you still going to change your opinion about humans, Shelia?" Lucinda asks.
"Maybe, The only human I trust is Lance since I cared for him. But, if humans proved themselves to be kind and honest to us. Then, I'll change my opinion about them." Shelia stated.
"Well, what time should we see Cindy about this emerald rock power inside Lance that is giving him immortal power?" Lindsey asks.
"At noon, We need to wait for Lance to get up so he can help her explain about it." Lucinda answers.
Later during the afternoon, Lance and the knights headed to the castle Liberty to ask their friend Cindy the royal librarian about the magical stone.

"Hey Cindy." Tina greets her as they walk into the library.
"Oh greetings. Give me a sec." Cindy says as she climbs down the ladder after putting away a few books.
After she was done, she walked to them and had an interest in seeing Lance.
"Well, what a cute human here." Cindy says as she pinches his cheek a little.
Lance blushes a little by that.
"This is Lance. While you were gone on your long vacation, Lola accepted him into our kingdom." Lucinda explains.
"Well that's something. What can I do for you knights?" She asks.
"Well, we are wondering if you know about an emerald rock or stone that can give immortal power and strength since our little friend Lance has it inside him." Lindsey explains.
"You mean the legendary magical stone?!" Cindy asked while shocked.
"You know about it?" Shelia asked while surprised.
"Yes. It's an old legend from our ancestors' time. And you are saying the stone chose you?" Cindy asks while explaining.
"Yes. I found it in the empress garden and it made me pick up heavy stuff easily and it went into my hand while I was holding it." Lance explains.
"You must be the chosen one." Cindy says with excitement.
"Chosen for what?" Tina asks.
"Follow me. Cindy says as she escorted them to the back of the library where the old books were stored.
Cindy went up a ladder and grabbed a book that tells the story about the Magical Stone and went down the ladder.
"You are chosen to make peace with our world, Lance. The stone wouldn't ever absorb into someone else that isn't the chosen one." Cindy says as she opens the book that holds history and information of the Magical Stone.
"A long time ago..." Cindy says as she starts reading to them.
Years ago....
Before the wall, before the two kingdoms that were ever built. Even Anthros and Humans never knew each other. A couple of human wizards decided to create something that could make a moral individual have immortal strength. They made some tests as they used normal stones to experiment on and they created many magical stones, but many failed and didn't work. Until one day, they were able to make the magical stone that has infinite power that will never fade away.
The magical Stone was known as many humans wanted to have the power to themselves but the wizards that made it prevented the magical stone's full power to go into an individual if they don't have a pure heart. The stone was safely hidden for many years as the human kingdom started to be built.
How the stone was discovered was unknown...
Back into the present...
"So the stone chose me, because I have a pure heart?" Lance asks
"That's right. You are a child with a pure heart. You are chosen." Cindy says with excitement.
"Any other surprises that you haven't told us, runt?" Shelia jokingly asks.
"No. I don't have any other secrets." Lance answers.
"Well, that explains how a small child like you fights individuals that are three times your size." Lindsey says as she ruffles his hair.
"Yes. That's how." Lance answers.
Meanwhile...
"It's done!" Rick says with excitement as he gives the replica magical stone to Carlos.
"Great! Tomorrow the kingdoms will kneel to me and humanity will be extinct from the world." Carlos says.
"Yeah and we both will rule over everyone." Rick added.
As Rick turned around for a second, He felt a sharp sword go through his torso. He coughs out some blood and was in pain.
"Nothing personal Rick. I thank you for your help, but you are nothing but a peasant and a petty thief. You have no place in my dictatorship empire." Carlos says as he pulls his sword out of him.
Rick gags out blood and bled to his death on the ground. Carlos felt the replica stone go into his body.
"Tomorrow will be the day. Be ready Lance." Carlos says as he leaves the house.
