Third Person's POV
Marinette's eyes widened but then she frowned. "You're Marinette right...not Nettie..?" She stared at him. "And you're indeed Jason. You're the only idiot who'd say that." Marinette countered while Jason laughed. She heavily exhaled then asked again. "About the anaesthetic..-" "Nah. Just get to it." She rolled her eyes then took his arm in hers and pulled him over to his couch and laid him down.
"Aww, my bestest friend is being so kind to me." She glared at him and threatened a warning, "Don't forget who has the needle and who's without a shirt." He nervously nodded then relaxed again as Marinette began to stitch. "Ugh.." He winced. "You sure you're okay?" Marinette asked half way done. He nodded in response and she continued. Once she was finished, she cleaned up the equipment and went to wash up the bloody tools.
Marinette: I suggest you stay lying down.
Jason: Alright. Umm..what does this mean..for us?
Marinette: *pauses* It means that we need to be more careful.
Jason: Says the one who's still transformed.
Marinette: *pouts* Yeah whatever.
Jason: I don't think Bruce would mind if MARINETTE knew about our secret. Let's say he walks in right now. I think it'd be safer if you de-transform.
Marinette: Sigh..okay...
She walked back out of the bathroom and sat on the floor in front of the couch Jason sat on and spoke, "Spots Off." Sparkling bubbles and ladybugs glowed, outlining her body from the head down as her costume disappeared and her human form remained. "So that's how that works." Jason commented in shock. "What'll this mean for us, Marinette?" Tikki asked. She looked at her. "I'm not sure. But we'll have to trust him to keep our secret." She answered.
Jason raised a brow, "Who are you talking to?" She awkwardly chuckled, "Sorry that was my kwami, Tikki. She's part of my powers and my personal bestest friend." "I thought that was me?" Jason quickly responded. She giggled, "I can have two." She went more in depth about her powers to Jason and they exchanged questions and answers. It was getting late and Marinette needed to get back home so she waved goodbye and called on Kaalki.
Ready to leave, she spoke the transformation words, "Kaalki, Full Gallop." She changed and so she was ready to depart but Jason held her hand and pulled her back. To her surprise, he was hugging her. "I promise I won't tell anyone, Marinette. You can trust me." She smiled and hugged him back. "I know, Peter." He playfully squeezed her tighter until she apologised and he finally released her. "See you tomorrow. Voyage." And with that, she left. ~~~~~~~~~~
Marinette's POV
The weekend came around and I was bored out of my mind. I didn't have any orders and the only suit I had left for the boys for the Christmas Ball at school was Jason's..and of course my dress and Babs'. I guess I could also try to write a new song as well. Hmm..? Just then the doorbell rang and Master Fu called me downstairs. I went down with the kwamis following not too far behind and opened the door.
"Jason?" He grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door. "W-What..- Where the hell are you taking me!?" He didn't speak a word and when I looked back at Master Fu for help he simply closed the door. I swear that old man... He opened the door to the limo and pushed me in then he got in after. I looked around and saw the entire family there. INCLUDING ALFRED!
Marinette: I SWEAR I DIDN'T TELL ANYONE!!!
Damian: What?
Jason: Marinette I told them that you know who we are.
Marinette: Oh. Oooohhhh...
Bruce: Well it's nice to know you didn't tell anyone as you just blurted out.
Marinette: Sorry about that. Alfred being here kinda scared me. The way he disciplines the boys, I didn't want to be in their shoes for once.
Barbara: I know. Scary.
Alfred: I'm here because Master Damian wanted to use me as a barrier so that he wouldn't have to - quote, unquote - suffer while sitting next to one of his brothers or Miss Barbara.
Marinette: I see.
Tim: Well I told them that we could trust you. We've known you since what..Elementary school.
Dick: I agree. Plus we all know Jaybird has a thing for you so why not..-
Jason: WHAT!?! NO I DON'T!! *lightly blushes*
Damian: Tt, Todd, if you're gonna lie do it properly. No wonder Dupain-Cheng found out about us. ~~~~~
Marinette: Does he really like me?
Barbara: It's honestly hard to tell because he's almost always dreaming about Nettie after the encounter they had at the Ball.
Marinette: *sighs* I see. By the way, where are we going?
Barbara: Oh, we're inviting you out for brunch with us. So, wanna come?
Marinette: I think it's already too late to say no. *giggles* ~~~~~~~~~~
