Bruce's POV

"Bye Mr. Wayne. Bye guys!" Marinette waved goodbye leaving the mansion as Jason made his way down the stairs. "So what were you two doing upstairs?" Barbara questioned with a smirk. He scoffed trying to hide the clearly visible blush forming on his cheeks. "We were just talking about stuff. What's going on with you and Dick, and you Tim with Stephanie over there?" He tried to change the subject.

Damian: Don't be a fool Todd. You and all of us know that you're terrible at changing the topic. But maybe you four should answer him. He might be looking for tips for him and Dupain-Cheng.

Jason: Shut it, demon spawn!

Tim: Maybe you should ask Bruce. He's a biLliONaiRe pLAyBoY afterall.

Bruce: Don't try to bring me into this.

Dick: But Bruce, we all know you have some spells you work on the ladies. What's your secret?

Barbara: There is no secret. To be bluntly honest with you boys, most girls these days just date boys for either their good looks, body, or money/wealth.

Stephanie: Of course Barbara and I don't but that's the truth of the matter. I don't think Marinette's like that either so that's good news for you, Jason.

Jason: *blushes* Why is that good news for specifically me? You're acting like we have f-feelings for each other.

Damian: Todd as I said before, you're an open book. But if you don't want her then I'll have her. *smirks*

Jason: She's Mine!!- W-What I mean is uhm..-

Dick: No way, you just got him to admit it, Lil'D. Good job.

Tim: You werrreeee joking right?

Damian: *shrugs* Perhaps.

They all started questioning Jason about his 'secret relationship' with Marinette while I simply watched. I have no problem with Marinette being his girlfriend. She might change him for the better. But I still don't know how she ended up the way she did back then when Jason brought her home. We never brought it up because we didn't want to pressure her about it and if she didn't want to tell us we'd respect that but we could've stopped the person who was to blame.

There's something about her that just..seems different. Like she's hiding something, a lot of things from us while we've just opened up to her about our biggest secret. I just feel..uneasy.

Stephanie's POV

There was only a month left until the Christmas Ball and everyone was hot on their tails. Tim said that he and the boys along with Barbara were getting their outfits from MDC. Tim asked me if I wanted her to make me an outfit but I denied it. "So Stephanie..you and Tim going to the Ball together?" my friend Cassandra and my desk partner cooed. "I'm not sure. He didn't ask but if he doesn't want to go with me then I understand."

"You are way too nice." she pouted. I giggled. "What about you?" She blinked twice before sighing. "You think any of these suckers would ask a girl like me? Hell no." "Look just because you look scary doesn't mean you aren't a girl like me. You're actually really nice so if these guys can't see that then they don't deserve to go to the Ball with you." I encouraged her. She smiled, "Thanks Steph." "Mhm."

The teacher walked in and started the lesson. When it was time for lunch, Tim and I were on our way up to the roof where the others ate their food. I looked back at Cassie and sighed, "Tim, can Cassie come with us?" He looked back at my desk buddy who was sitting alone at the desk and he smiled, "Sure. I'm sure they won't mind. I could bring Bernard too." I nodded and called over Cassandra while Tim went over to Bernard.

We brought the two up to the roof with us and there everyone was already eating. "Oh hey you guys. I see you've brought extra." Dick hollered. "Yup, this is..-" "Cassandra and Bernard right?" Marinette asked. Tim nodded. "So you're Cassandra. Steph talks a lot about you and Tim talks a lot about you, Bernard." Barbara loud-mouthed. They both stared at us. "All good things, I promise." I said.

We all sat in a circle and started talking and they seemed to like them already. I think the girls were just happy to have yet another female within the group though. "So Cassandra, what do you like to do for fun?" She swallowed her food before answering, "Umm, I like watching scary movies. I also grew up learning self defence so I guess I like freshening up my skills from time to time."

"We'll get along swimmingly." Jason smiled. "What about you, Bernard?" Mari asked. "Hmm, Oh I really like..- no LOVE Superheroes especially the Robins and Batman of course, not to mention the infamous Ladybug they partnered with now. Oh and I was also taught hand-to-hand combat." Damian grinned, "Which Robin is your favourite? Let me guess, it's the new and improved current Robin?"

Bernard shook his head, "Oh no. My all time favourite is Red Robin." Jason and Tim both spat out their juice and said in sync, "He's your favourite!?" He nodded in reply. "Well, it looks like someone has an admirer." Marinette cooed, smirking at Tim who was blushing and coughing at the same time. "Tt, unbelievable..." Damian said in disapproval. "Well anyways, this was nice but the bell is about to go so let's pack up and head back downstairs." Dick spoke.

We did as he said and soon after we left the roof with our things and went downstairs just in time for the bell to ring. "It was nice getting to know you two." Barbara smiled. "Likewise. See you all around." And with that, Tim and I along with our two classmates went to our classrooms while the others did too. The last few periods of the day began and ended with the last bell of the day.
