It's been a week since my whole bar run in with Patrick Kane. I haven't been able to focus on anything. His smile, gorgeous blue eyes and curly blonde hair has been in my mind the entire time. To try and get my mind off of him, I've been working out. I go to the gym twenty minutes from my apartment when the thought of him gets me overwhelmed. It was four in the afternoon on Friday when I decided to go to the gym after watching the Blackhawks highlights from last nights game against the Wild. Leave it to Kane to be the first star of the game. I arrive at the gym and go towards a treadmill. I put my water in the cup holder and put my headphones on so I don't have to listen to the god awful playlist in the gym. As I'm about 5 minutes into my workout someone hits the stop button on my treadmill.
Without looking up I say with anger, "What the hell." Before I say anything I might regret I look up to find him. The person who I'm supposed to be getting out of mind. The person I've been begging to see again.

"You're a really tough girl to find did you know that?"

"Why would I know that?" I respond trying to keep my composure and I-don't-like-celebrities look.

"Well, I still don't know your name. Care to tell me so I can quit calling you mystery girl," he said with hope in his beautiful blue eyes.

"Nope."

"Hey Olivia! How ya been?" Mrs.Murray says. Mrs.Murray is a middle aged women who comes to the gym around the same time as I do. We usually socialize but I'm not in the mood to talk with her after she just said my name in front of Patrick. I give her a death stare and avoid eye contact with Patrick.

"Olivia huh? That's a very pretty name," he says with a smirk. "Well Olivia would you like to go on a date with me?"

My heart starts to beat repeatedly. My palms are all sweaty and I don't know what to say. Obviously I want to say yes but I'm not sure if I'm ready. Oh what the hell.

"Yes, I would." I go to the front desk and grab a pen and paper. I write down my number and give it to him.

"Sweet. I'll pick you up at 8. Oh and when I text you, give me your address."

"Wait, a date tonight?"

"Yeah. Why is that a problem?"

"No that's fine. I'll see you at eight."

"Alright bye, Olivia," he says with a wink.

After I see him leave a grab all my things and bolt out the door. I check my phone and it's 4:30. I have plenty of time but not enough time. I have no idea what I'm going to where or what to do with my hair. I'm freaking out. Of course, I text Abby and Emma and tell them to meet me at my apartment in 20 minutes. This better be the best night ever.

After about two hours I finally have my outfit picked out. I've decided to wear my black skin right dress that I wore the night we met. My hair is straight with a headband braid that Abby did. Patrick texted me and hour ago and said we were going somewhere fancy so look sexy. It was 7:56 when I was finally ready. I waited patiently for him to get here. He knocked on my door at exactly 8. It seemed like forever until he finally arrived in his black pants with a white collard shirt and black blazer. He looked hot. My heart began to race and my knees buckled.

"You look amazing," he says after about a minute of us staring at each other.

"Thanks, you look pretty good yourself," I respond blushing.

After a couple more minutes of staring he finally speaks.

"Alright, let's go."

I close the door behind me and walk down the hallway to the elevator. We wait for the elevator without saying a word. I can see him looking at me from the corner of my eye. The elevator finally arrives and he lets me get in first. We ride down in silence and then walk to his car in dead silence. He opens the door for me and I get in. After he gets in and starts the engine he finally breaks the silence.
