I wake up to the sound of Ella crying. I look at Patrick next to me who is deep asleep and can't hear her. I get up and pick Ella up out of her crib which she shouldn't really be in anymore. I hold her and ask her what happened. She doesn't answer me. She puts her head on my shoulder and starts to suck her thumb. I continue to hold her and decide to go make some breakfast. It's only 7:48 and I don't see Patrick getting up anytime soon, so why not a breakfast in bed. I walk down the stairs carefully so I don't drop Ella or so I don't fall. I enter the kitchen and place Ella in her high chair. I rummage through the cabinets to find pans to cook the food in. Then I walk over to the pantry and find some food for Ella. I put some of her Cheerios in a bowl and get her a sippy cup with apple juice. After she's all settled, I start to make breakfast. I cook three scrambled eggs, some toast with butter, and four pieces of turkey bacon I found in his freezer. I pour a glass of apple juice and check the time. 8:25. I place the plate with all the food, the glass of orange juice, a fork and napkin on a tray I found while looking for the pans. I take it upstairs to him only to find he's awake and sitting in bed staring at me.

"I was wondering where you went. I heard a lot of commotion downstairs and noticed that Ella was missing. Then I look beside me to find that you're not in bed anymore. I knew you weren't the kidnapping type so I waited up here for my breakfast I knew you were making."

"Well, aren't you smart."

I take his tray of breakfast over to him and sit on the edge of the bed next to him.

"This is just a little thank you for letting me spend the night and giving me such a fun time time last night. I haven't had that much fun in a while."

"Anytime. In fact I was thinking, what are you doing today?"

"Um, I have to run into my office to get a couple papers around eleven but other than that, nothing. Why?"

"I have practice at 10:30. Would you wanna take Ella for the day and then come to my game tonight?"

"That sounds perfect," I respond giving him a peck on the cheek. I don't know why but that's the second time I've kissed him. Some sort of confidence has taken over me and I like it, a lot.

"Great, now I'm going to eat my breakfast and then get ready for hockey. I'll leave the code to the garage on the counter so you can get back in the house. Okay?"

"Okay."

I get up off his bed so he can eat in peace. I head downstairs to find Ella covered in apple juice and the floor in Cheerios.

"Silly girl. What did you do?"

She starts to laugh that cute adorable laugh that makes me smile. I want to have my own kids one day. I want them to be just like Ella. Cute, adorable, energetic, fun and sweet. I clean up the kitchen and then take Ella upstairs to change out of her soaked pajamas and into an out fit. After I change her I grab my dress, shoes and jewelry from last night and put them in a grocery bag I found in the laundry room. I shoot Abby a text and tell her to come pick me up at Patricks house and bring me to my apartment at around 9:35. Patrick comes downstairs with his tray of dirty dishes in a suit at 9:16. He puts the dishes in the sink and comes towards me and Ella.

"You're going to spend the day with Olivia. Behave and have fun okay. I'll be back after practice. I love you crazy girl," he says with a big kiss. He gives her a big hug before coming back to my height level and saying good bye to me.

"Um how are you going to get to work?" he asks with a little laugh.

"Abby's picking me up in about 20 minutes and bringing me to my apartment. I already took Ella's car seat out of your car."
