𝙶𝚘𝚕𝚍𝚎𝚗 𝙴𝚢𝚎𝚍 𝙿𝚛𝚘𝚝𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚛 || 𝚁𝚘𝚜𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚎 𝙷𝚊𝚕𝚎

The Truth

Rosalie sat in her car, contemplating whether she should go through Dani's window or not.

"You dumbass. You gave yourself away. She already knows."

Rosalie sighs and hits the gas to drive back to her house. Dani saw every aspect of Rosalie. The strength. The eyes. The growling. Pale skin unlike others. The speed. Even her little friend. Rosalie groans to herself when she parks her car in the driveway. She swiftly gets out her vehicle, slamming the door shut. As Rosalie walks into the house, her face is met with a fist.

"You asshole! You're giving us away!" Edward yells.

"I'm sorry my instincts took over! I can't control that a human is my mate!" Rosalie yells back, pushing her brother off of her.

"You're gonna get us in trouble with the Volturi! Danielle will expose us to other humans!" Edward yells.

He punches Rosalie on the cheek, which formed cracks.

The 2 tackle each other, each taking swings at one another. Rosalie and Edward end up falling back onto a table, knocking over a vase.

"What the hell what that?!" Esme yelled from another room.

Rosalie and Edward hurry up to get off of the floor before Esme and Carlisle enter the living room.

"Edward, go to your room, now," Carlisle says sternly.

Edward huffs and speeds up the stairs, slamming his bedroom door shut. Carlisle sighs and looks over at Rosalie who has pitch black eyes. Rosalie paces around the living room trying to blow off steam.

"He's over reacting! Danielle is my mate! He doesn't have a choice!"

"I understand, Rose. Give her time to figure it out herself, okay?"Carlisle says calmly.

Rosalie groans and speeds off to her garage. She grabs random tools and parts and throws them around. She bangs the hood of the Jeep and sighs. Rosalie leans over it, putting her head into her hands.

"It all ends out okay, Rose."

Rosalie is startled by the voice and quickly turns around and sees Alice and Jasper. Jasper looks at Rosalie and tries to calm her mind. Rosalie sighs in relief.

"Thanks, Jasper. Again," Rosalie smiles a little and chuckles softly.

Alice walks over to Rosalie and wraps her arms around the blonde in a tight embrace. Rosalie returns the hug just as tight.

"Thanks, Alice. I really am the Ice Queen. I've never said it before, but I hope you know that I appreciate you."

"I'll always be here for you, Sis," Alice says while hugging Rosalie tighter.

Rays of sunshine peep their way through Dani's curtains. She groans while rubbing her eyes. Dani stands off her bed to go look through her window. It's a sunny day for a town like Forks. Usually it's cloudy and more than likely rainy. Today was fairly sunny but not hot outside. Dani sighs and starts her morning routine: showering, getting dressed, etc. The only thing that's not fun about this morning is the new bruises forming on Dani's ribs. She wasn't home for awhile, and Austin had quite the fit about it.

While walking down the stairs, Dani noticed that her dad has already left for work. That's good on her side. Dani chooses not to eat breakfast once again, and she grabs her keys to get to school a little earlier than planned.

Once Dani is parked at the high school, she notices none of the Cullens' vehicles are there.

"So it's a beautiful day outside, yet the Cullens refuse to come out? Weird," Dani wonders.

Dani walks through the hallways but not without greetings from the student body. She smiles and waves back to everyone who greeted her. Dani makes it to her locker and pulls out her books needed for class. Since first period doesn't start for another 10 minutes, Dani decided to text Rosalie.
