𝙶𝚘𝚕𝚍𝚎𝚗 𝙴𝚢𝚎𝚍 𝙿𝚛𝚘𝚝𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚛 || 𝚁𝚘𝚜𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚎 𝙷𝚊𝚕𝚎

Gym Trouble

It's the last 2 periods of the day for Rosalie and Dani: Science and Gym. During her lunch and 6th period, Rosalie went into the forest to hunt while cooling off.

"What was I thinking?" Rosalie asked herself.

Before lunch, Rosalie has class with her sister, Alice. Alice has the ability to see in the future when people try to make up decisions.

"Danielle is gonna be held back for a little during lunch. Why don't you go find her and try to talk to her?" Alice asks Rosalie. Rosalie looks at her with a neutral look, but she nods in agreement.

When the bell rings, Rosalie gets up swiftly and slowly walks around the school. She already knows where Dani's class is from observing but doesn't want to seem like a stalker.

"Knowing her full schedule already makes me a damn stalker," Rosalie thought to herself.

She rolls her eyes and shakes her head while continuing walking. Eventually in a few minutes, the hallways are cleared, and everyone makes their way to the cafeteria.
Rosalie ends up at Danielle's last class and waits for her outside the classroom. When she walks out, Dani is on her phone, not paying attention. She walks right into Rosalie and falls backwards.

Rosalie's eyes go wide, and she crouches down and picks up Dani's belongings. Dani goes stiff and looks up at Rosalie. Rosalie looks back at Dani.

"R-Rosa-" Dani tries to speak.

Rosalie helps Dani up by grabbing her waist. Dani puts her hands on Rosalie's lower stomach to balance herself and keep some space between them. Both girls make eye contact again, afraid to speak and say the wrong thing. Rosalie feels a low growl in her chest and tries to compress it, so it's not obvious.

"Mate..mate...mate...," is all Rosalie thinks while her eyes go black.

Rosalie blinks rapidly and walks off, speeding to the exit to go hunt.

Back to the present, Rosalie enters her science class. Every students' eyes look up at her except Dani's. Dani's face is flushed in a deep red, embarrassed about her and Rosalie's last encounter. Rosalie takes her seat beside Dani while still looking away, thinking about what to say or do next. The teacher has yet to enter the class, so Dani takes the chance to talk.

"H-Hey," is all Dani can manage to say. In her mind, she face palms herself for sounding like an idiot.

Rosalie slowly looks over at Dani with bright golden eyes, looking into Dani's brown and green ones. Her face expression is soft, yet Rosalie looks like she's trying to read Dani.

"Hello. I'm uh Rosalie. Rosalie Hale," Rosalie speaks softly.

Dani chuckles and blushes more, if that's even possible, at Rosalie's gentleness. Rosalie hums and slightly smiles, happy that she heard Dani's laugh.

"Danielle Taylor, but most people call me Dani," Dani says sweetly while smiling.

"Dani...what a beautiful name for a gorgeous girl like you," Rosalie says confidently.

Dani looks away because she's embarrassed that Rosalie's compliment had a huge effect on her. Dani can feel butterflies in her stomach.

"It was one compliment, Dani. Calm down," she thinks to herself.

The teacher, Mr. Mason, finally walks in and hands everyone a worksheet.

"This is just more practice on the notes we took yesterday. You may work amongst yourselves. Whatever you don't finish is your homework," Mr. Mason says.

The class flows by smoothly. Dani and Rosalie share glances with each other and smile shyly when they get caught staring. The bells rings, and everyone packs up to get to their last class of the day. Dani starts packing up, but a cold hand gently grabs her arm to stop her. Dani looks up at Rosalie who is already done packing her books and worksheet. Rosalie keeps eye contact with Dani while Rosalie packs up Dani's things.
