I finally told Amethyst that I'm leaving. She's the one na maghahatid sakin, but I told her not to tell anyone. Even Simon.

"Balik ka, Airene. I will miss you so much!" She said.

"Whatever I'm doing, I'm doing this for him because I love him. If he asks, tell him that I'll be gone. Forever."

"Promise me that you will come back. Di kita papasakayin sa airplane unless you won't promise me."

"Magpapaalam na nga lang magagalit pa, sige na nga. I promise you that I will come back. And if I do, you'll be the only person to see me." To start a new life, I have to become a private person just like before.

"I love you so much, bestie. Always take care of yourself"

We finally bid goodbyes to each other. This night may not be the night that everyone expected.

This is my last goodbye, and the last time here in the Philippines. I'll be leaving for a while. And I will miss it so much.

I waved at her and continued walking on my way to the airplane. Iafter I sat at my seat, and the airplane was about to take off. I can't help myself, I cried.

Whatever I'm doing, I'm doing this because I love him.

After 5 hours

I wiped off my tears, "Why are you crying?" My husband asked me.

"Oh, it's nothing. I just watched a Korean drama on my phone. It was sad that's why I'm crying" I lied.

"You're my wife, Amethyst. And I know that it's not the reason why you're crying. Come on, I'm your husband. Tell me what happened"

"Promise me to not tell to anyone else, Okay?" I made him promise, "Okay. I promise you." He said.

"Why I left kanina is because I sent Airene off to the Airport." I said, he was shocked to hear what I told him.

"Why didn't you tell Simon about it?"

"And what hurts me the most, is that she said that she has been diagnosed with cancer stage 2. She left for treatment, and she doesn't want Simon to find out about it. She also said she left for him to move on" My tears started falling.

"She has a cancer, Sandro."

He hugged me tight. "Pray for her so that she can heal, so that she can be safe." He said.

He's the most caring husband ever. That's why I married him.

The news suddenly popped up, "A flight from Airlines had an emergency. The airplane crashed and all bodies are found dead. They said that the airplane left the airport 5 hours ago, investigators are still looking for the cause of the crash."

"A-Airlines...?! T-that is A-Airene's flight! No, this can't be! This can't be right no. This can't be happening! Oh please lord, no." I burst up to my tears.

"You have to tell Simon about this! We can no longer keep this a secret because this is now a tragedy."

We rushed to Simon's house and Elise was there. "Simon, you have to listen to us. Please calm yourself down." Sandro said.

"Why? What happened?"

"Airene died at a plane crash." I sent off this words as I cry. I broke down and sat, I couldn't help myself.

"W-what? WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP HER FROM LEAVING?! YOU KNEW ABOUT THIS, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!" he shouted and punched the wall.

Elise was preventing him.

"WHY AIRENE?! TELL ME! WHY DID SHE LEAVE?"

"S-she.. She did it all for you. She left because she loves you. All she wanted to do is to make you move on."

I didn't told him that she has cancer. I don't want to give him more pain. That time I didn't know what to do, I called everyone that I can just to see her dead body but we can't go there because they said it was all burned down.

"this is all my fault." He said and sat down tired. Elise was still calming him down. She hugged him.

Is this the end? If I was the author of the story, I wouldn't let this happen.
