I THINK I'VE FALLEN

[Christmas Eve]

We are all sitting at the living room and watching the movie except for Atty. Liza, she's cooking the handa for later.

So.. Amethyst and I decided to help her.

"Oh, why are you both here?" She asked us.

"We want to help you tita, you're preparing a lot of food and it's almost 11pm we still have to change clothes after" Amethyst said.

"Sure, pretty ladies. " she replied.

"Where should we start, Atty. Liza?" I asked.

"Iha stop calling me Atty. Liza, instead just call me Tita. You helped my son win the case and your father is also my husband's childhood friend"

I just smiled.

I started making the sauce for the roasted chicken, while ameth is preparing the other chicken to be fried.

"So Iha, tell me about you. What are your hobbies?" Tita Liza asked.

"I like reading books, watching historical movies po"

"That's nice, I also love doing the same. Wow, we have so much in common rin pala. What's your sport? I heard lumaban ka raw dati international?"

"My sport is badminton, actually I was placed on 3rd lang po but my parents are still proud about it."

"I wish you met my sons before so that you could teach them about it. What they only do inside the house is just lay down." She said while cooking the pasta.

"How did you and Amethyst met?" She asked.

"College classmates and our parents knows each other which makes us connected, his dad is my ninong rin po Pala" Amethyst said.

"Oh.. That's nice"

"Do you have a boyfriend, or something?"

"No po, tita. I don't have a boyfriend." I said, "Well, I know you'll find someone who will love you as much as he can just like how bong did to me" she replied.

"You're so lucky to have tito bong, I wish I can also find a man that can treat me like that." I said.

"You know what, iha? I have two sons that are still single" We laughed. Binenta mo na yung anak sakin tita HAHAHAHA.

After few minutes our food is done. "Wow, thank you for helping me out beautiful ladies! I'll go to my room to change my clothes muna" she said.

We all sat down at chair and waited for their mom before eating dinner. Tito bong started a conversation;

"Why don't you go have a vacation in boracay? I'll pay for all of your expenses so no worries." Tito bong said.

"Wow dad. Thanks but I think I'll be busy after New Year" Sandro said, "I didn't said that you're going after new year, what about after christmas? Maybe December 26 or 27?" He replied.

"Kuya Simon, are you busy?" Vincent asked him.

"No. not at all" He said.

"Well then, I guess we're not busy. We'll go for it." Sandro said.

"You should come too, Amethyst and Airene" Tito bong said. "Yeah sure tito bong, as long as I'm not busy po" I replied.

"Sama ka na Airene, come on so that I won't be the only girl who's going with them. Let's also have fun, that's boracay they said that the beach there is awesome"

Paskong pasko magboboracay

I didn't said a thing but I couldn't help myself, I just said yes with an expression.

"Goods. Let's all have a bonding together, ikaw Vincent? Are you gonna bring a girl or what?" Sandro teased him.

"Did I just hear Vincent bringing a girl? No way, I'm not gonna say yes to that. I'm not letting my baby boy bring a girl" Tita Liza said.

We all laughed.

"I was just kidding mom" Sandro said.

"Now, let's all eat before firing up the fireworks. So that we can enjoy outside because last Christmas I saw Vincent sneaking inside the house getting some food because we didn't eat" Sandro said.

"I saw him too"

It's fun to be with them, they're funny but I enjoyed them being hospitable. I miss my parents so much, I wish we also can bond like this.

Only if mom didn't die, and dad didn't marry his mistress. Only if they didn't make a mistake then all of that wouldn't happen.

I was the only child of my mom and dad, but when dad got remarried they were blessed with 3 kids.

My half sisters and brother, Aliana is the older among them. Aj is the only guy and the middle child. While Arian is the youngest.

Aliana is currently 17 years old, Aj is 15 and Arian is 12. Honestly, my stepmom is still young she's like 47 years old now while my dad is 60 or smth.

AFTER EATING

We went outside because they're setting up the fireworks. It's really cold outside but it's not raining.

I looked at my watch and it's almost 12am

We didn't do a count down but they fired it. We watched the fireworks and everytime I look at it it's like bringing my childhood memories back.

"Simon, can you take a picture of me with the background of fireworks?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure" he said and I handed him the phone.

He took few shots and gave my phone back. "Let's both take a picture rin" Akit ko sakanya.

He agreed and we both took a picture together. Honestly, kinikilig akoooooooooo!!

I took pictures of the magasawa's. Vincent and his brothers, Amethyst and Sandro. And a group selfie.

"I'll just send you the pictures, we all look so cutieee" I said.

Later on, their cousins and titas arrived here too. It was unexpected and even tito bong was surprised.

"Hey dude!" Mr. Manotoc greeted the brothers.

"Hi tita, hi tito. Merry Christmas!" Atty. Manotoc greeted them.

"Hey sandro, how's it going?" Gov. Manotoc did too.

"Who's that pretty girl?"

"She's Attorney Ramirez, just call her Airene. She's the one who saved Simon and defended his rights from what happened a month ago." Ameth introduced me.

"Hello po, merry Christmas!" I greeted them.

"Did I just hear someone calling me?" Mrs. Airene Araneta said, "No tita, that's her name. She's Airene Ramirez the difference is the spelling. Her name has an A and you don't" Simon explained.

After greeting, they ate and then we bonded. Tito bong was really serious about the bora ay thing and now the manotoc brothers are also joining together with their girlfriends.

He just bought tickets online, and it was final. We're leaving sa isang araw December 26 because our flight is in early morning.

I haven't been inside an airplane pa, hopefully it's not that scary.
