I'M TRYING TO BE BRAVE

[After few days]

Someone knocked on my door.

"Bianca, our flight will be tomorrow. Hindi ka na lumalabas sa room mo, did something happened? Are you sick?"

I wiped up my tears, "No dad. I just want to be alone, I'll go ahead and pack my things na po"

"If you need anything just come down stairs, anyways pupunta kami sa tito bong mo so that we can bid goodbyes to them. Do you want to go?"

"No dad, I'm fine." I said, "Are you sure?" he asked again. I do want to go there but at the same time, I still can't face my breaking heart.

I feel like if I see him, I think I'm going to break into pieces. This is the part where I'm regretting all I did.

But, I still want to meet Ameth. I want to bid her for the last time, cause I wouldn't see her child anymore. Sadly, it's still few months before she's going to give birth and I'm not here.

I decided for the last minute, good thing dad and mom are still here. "Dad, I'm comming. Just wait for me." I told them and he nodd.

[Marcos Mansion]

We arrived at their house. I didn't even manage to fix my make up because i was hurrying. As we go down, Simon and tito bong was there waiting for us.

I looked him in the eye because he was looking at me but then he got his eyes off me, he went inside their house. I am really sorry Simon. I did it all because I loved you.

"Pare! Bukas na pala ang alis nyo ano?" Tito bong said, "Oo nga pare eh.. Gusto pa namin manirahan ng matagal dito pero may business kasi kami doon"

"Okay lang yan pare, atleast makakapag-bakasyon nalang ulit kayo dito. Diba?"

We went inside the house, it was still the same as before when we were kids but Simon was a different guy not like before. He used to be the most caring, sweet guy and now... He's just a cold hearted guy and looks like he doesn't care about whatever is going on here in earth.

"BIANCA!!" Amethyst called me and went running to me, "Ameth, buntis ka. You should be careful!"

"No worries! I can take care of myself na, anyways bakit kayo nandito?" she asked.

"Last toast, last dinner with you all together. We'll be leaving tomorrow afternoon and I guess this is the last time we'll be seeing each other again.."

I can see sadness written on her face.

"Can't you stay? Can't you wait for me na manganak muna, I want you to be there.. Well, buhay mo naman yan ikaw ang bahala." she said in a "nagtampo" tone.

"I'm really sorry ameth, I just don't know what to do... Well I do want to stay here and wait until you give birth but I have a work there and I'm much more happier there. I think I still couldn't bare seeing him... He wouldn't even talk to me."
