TEMPTATION

"Here's your oranges." I coldly said while handing Samantha those oranges that she's craving for.

I didn't want to hear any of her words so I walked out of the room agad. I have to wait three more months until we find out about the result.

And every month I have to come with her to the doctor, they said it's check - ups and it's normal.

Since I don't want to just get locked inside this house with Samantha, I went somewhere else.

"does your girlfriend know that you're here?" Luis asked me. Is he just joking or not.

"She's not my girlfriend, Luis. I would never have a girlfriend like her! She ruined my life and my relationship with Elise.."

"Take it easy, I was just kidding. Pero what about Elise nga pala? What's the news about her?"

"Grace called me. She said that nawawala sa Elise, they tried contacting her but she wasn't answering, they even asked me for help but I have to explain that I no longer have connections with her."

"I already told the public that I'm currently in a relationship with another. Why would I take it back?" I added.

"Cheers bro."

Our glasses sound as we toast for nothing. "What's your plans nga pala?" He suddenly asked.

"I don't have plans. I am not ready to be a father, so hopefully that kid turns not mine. Samantha's background is very dark, for sure she had contacts with another."

"You know the answer naman pala eh-"

"I'm the only guy who didn't wore protection when we were.. Okay just stop this. I'm so disgusted." I stopped myself from telling stories about what happened to the two of us that night.

He chuckled, "Lahat kaming pinsan mo hindi nageexpect na isang tahimik na lalaki ay magiging ganyan"

I didn't say a thing.

My phone started ringing and it was mom who was calling me, I answered it.

"Simon, asan ka?!" she sounded like I did something wrong again.

"At luis' house, I'm hanging out with him to get all of my stress out. Please mom just let me do whatever I want before I become a father once that baby is born."

"Are you not thinking Simon?! You have to take responsibilities even though the baby is not born yet, what if this baby turns out yours?? Umuwi ka dito ngayon na at alagaan mo si Samantha." she said ang ended our call.

"Luis, I gotta go home. Mom's mad again at me for leaving Samantha"

"bye dude, ingatan mo si future wife ah" he teased me.

MANSION

I entered the house and mom was there beside Samantha, sitting together while watching a movie.

Mom looked at me and greeted me, "Finally! What took you so long ba? Is there a traffic or something, but anyways good thing Samantha was here because I was bored."

she whispered, "Maybe she wasn't even bad at all, you know what Simon? I like this girl for you. She seems nice and pretty pa!"

Samantha started grinning, "You're not funny, Samantha." I mouthed her my words and went straight to my room.

Now what. She's trying to be close with my mother?! Oh God, she's such a good manipulator.

Someone knocked at the door, hopefully it's not Sam.

"Who is it?" I asked, "Kuya it's me Vincent" he replied and he went inside.

"What do you want?"

"Have you seen mom? Nalason narin ba sya ni Samantha, mukhang nakuha nya yung loob ni mom eh!"

"I know right, she's so crazy and weird talaga. I don't even know how I didn't notice it was her that night.."

"Kuya, are you drunk again?" He asked me and went closer to smell if I was. "GOD! YOU SMELL LIKE ALCOHOL AND ITS SO DISGUSTING."

"Just get out of my room, I'm gonna change my clothes and sleep after. Don't let Samantha inside my room, please."

He nodd and left my room. I finally changed my clothes and got myself ready to bed because I was pretty tired.

I was about to close my eyes when suddenly someone knocked at the door again.

"Ano yon?" I asked.

"Simon, it's me Samantha. Bukas yung check up ko, can you please go with me sharp 9 in the morning, thanks si." She said and the voice faded. She must've left already, well that's nice.

What a sudden change of her character. From a crazy whore to a soft loving mother lol!

Even if you change, what I saw in you would never change.
