WON THE CASE

[COURT TRIAL]

I arrived at the court.

Same as the marcos family.

"Hey Mr. Simon, Goodluck on your stupidity" Samantha whispered in his ears.

"You know that I can hear you, Samantha. Your karma will comeback to you. I swear." I said.

"Shut up, defend him a lot of times but Mama liza's heart is on me and my baby. I know she can't let go that fast."

"Well you're not quite sure about it, Samantha." Mrs. Marcos said.

I can see shocked written in Simon's face.

I told her everything, the night before this. She finally gave up on her hopes on having a grandchild. She decided to live what is actually true.

I got their trust. Just like what I told Simon before.

"I'm really sorry Anak, Simon. Please forgive me.. That I believed Samantha. Please forgive me for what I did to you.. Anak." She said and hugged him.

"It's okay mom.. We'll get through this, if the DNA proved me right."

"I'm sorry Si. All we wanted is to have a grandchild.. Me and your mom can't help it that's why we didn't believe what you said. We have been tricked." Pops said.

"You're my parents. Why would I not forgive you?"

I looked at Samantha who was getting worried about who might defend her later. I guess the karma is starting.

She glared at me.

"Wait until you find out." she said and went inside.

[INSIDE THE COURT]

Judge: Now, I will open the results.

Mr. Simon, you are not the father. The results say that 0% your child. Congratulations on your case, it is now dismissed.

We greatfully cheered that we won the case.

"Congratulations, Mr. Simon!" I greeted him.

As we leave the court, Samantha stopped us.

"You will pay for what you did. You ruined my life! I almost got your mother's trust, everything." she said.

"Ms. Samantha, look who's wrong now. Why will they pay for what they did if you did yourself wrong?" I told her.

"I knew that you were after our family's money. You are not going to get it. I shouldn't have believed you." Mrs. Marcos said.

We left her. We are going to send off goodbyes to each other when suddenly "Iha, what's your name ulit?" Mr. Marcos asked me.

"My name is Airene po, Mr. Marcos"

"Magkasing pangalan pala kayo ng kapatid ko, the difference is that you have an A on your Airene but my sister don't. Well, if it's okay for you na sumama ka samin we're going to eat at a restaurant to celebrate."

"Sure po Mr. Marcos!"

"And also, stop calling me Mr. Marcos. You should just call me Tito Bong since you helped my son to win this case. Diba you're a ramirez?"

I nodd.

"How are you related to Jesse Ramirez?" he asked.

"He's my father po tito"

"Your dad is my best friend. What a small world! Next time let's have a dinner all together. It's been years since I last saw your father" he said.

"Sure, I'll ask them po tito"

After that little chikahan we went to a restaurant to celebrate, Simon's cousins also came. It was a kid of small celebration.

As far as I know, the way they celebrate occasions are literally big. Everyone is invited, family - friends and politicians.

I'm not also surprised that his dad and mine are magkakilala since my dad is also a politician before. I think magkababata sila.

[AFTER EATING]

I decided to go to the balcony and take a fresh air. I can see the night view of makati.

City lights view from my condo is always relaxing. That's why I chose to live here in makati.
