Anika's feelings =>

Nikhil's love and everyone's affection for me is pricking me now. I know I am wrong but I feel as if I am addicted to this guilty pleasure. Being close to Shivaay gives me unforgettable satisfaction. Last night he made me feel unbelievably free. There is no way I can justify myself. I have no idea what is the destination of my and Shivaay's relation but I still want to walk on this path, even if it might bring destruction.

=====================

It was almost sunset. Anika realised it was almost the end of Shivaay's duty at the mall.

"Ma, I need to buy few things. Can I go to the mall?" she asked.

"Come back before its too dark", Pinki replied, busy in the tv.

Anika dressed up and left.

Her eyes searched for Shivaay as soon as she entered the mall. When she finally spotted him, she tiptoed to him and covered his eyes with her hands.

"I know its you Anika", he said, even with out touching her fingers.

"How did you know?" she asked, coming to stand infront of him.

"Two reasons", he said coming closer to her, "No one else dares to pull out a stunt with me here. And nobody else smells like you."

"You know me by my smell?" she asked moving back.

"I know many things about you" he said, moving more closer.

At such an intimate moment, Anika suddenly cracked out laughing. She tried to supress her laughter again and again but as a result, Shivaay started laughing along with her too.

"What was that?" he asked amidst of laughing.

"I don't know", said a laughing Anika, hiding her face in his chest.

When the two finally silenced down, she asked him, "When will your shift end?"

"It already has."

"Why are you here then?"

"I just had some small works left."

"Lets go then", she said, holding his hand.

"I need to change", he said, pointing at his uniform.

"Then go", she said, pushing him away.

Shivaay came back within a few minutes and took Anika to the ice-cream section. He bought the ice creams she chose and took her to the terrace of the building.

"We are allowed to come here?" Anika asked on entering

"We are allowed to come here?" Anika asked on entering.

"I don't know but there is no "No Entry" sign here. Most importantly the view here is good. So I will be coming no matter what", he said putting his hand on her shoulders and showed her the bustling city below.

The love birds ate the ice creams, enjoying the orange sky.

"Why didn't you come home today?" he asked.

"I did not know what to say on seeing you" she confessed.

"Seriously?" he chuckled.

"What would you have said if you were in my place?" she asked, her eyes fixed on the sky.

"I never had a girlfriend before. So if I am blank, its okay. You have been married for 5 years, why are you so confused?" he reasoned.

"It was your first time last night?" Anika asked, amused.

"No. I have had sex before" he confessed.

"You did it without love?" she asked, shell-shocked.

"Weren't you doing it for five years without love?" he cross-questioned.

"I love Nikhil", Anika protested.

"If you ever feel you love two persons, accept that you did not actually love the first person because if your love was true, you could not have fell for the second person", he stated, looking straight into her eyes.

"You are saying it because you are the second person"

"Its true that I am accepting this fact because I am luckier this time"

Anika chose not to argue over it, fearing that she might actually end up questioning her love for Nikhil, "What are your feelings for me?"

"I love you." He was short and clear.

"Didn't you feel it for that girl too?"

"No. We knew from first only that we were friends with benefits. No feelings attached."

"You know what you are stepping into by associating with me, right?"

"I agree to keep my love for you throughout my life", saying this he hugged her.

Her fears were real and so was his. They were standing against their society. Nobody would be supporting them.

The chirping of birds filled the air as a flock of birds passed by. The lovebirds looked up at them, breaking their hug. The most common scene seemed pretty suddenly.

"Why didn't I meet you earlier?" Anika sighed.

"Maybe I wouldn't have fallen for you so badly if I had met you before", he said.

"O shit. My ice cream is melting", Anika exclaimed as her eyes fell on her ice cream becoming liquid.

"Finish it quickly, I will kiss you after that", he said.

"Huh?", Anika asked, her cheeks turning red.

"Be quick."
