A concert for her

No sooner had she seen him, she started running away. She was about to leave the port when she remembered that she had taken up a responsibility- she had run away from her responsibility once, not again. Taking control over her heart, she rejoined her job and led the way for the students, trying to hide from Shivaay the whole time.

Shivaay had imagined meeting her again so many times but never had he thought, she would run away like this. He tried speak to her but failed in even getting close to her. It was almost lunchtime and his desire to know why she had left him without a single word was increasing.

"Sir", Shivaay heard a sweet voice from his left.

"Yes", he answered looking at the girl.

"Sir when will you sing for us?", she asked.

"Whenever everyone wants", Shivaay blushed realising he will be singing for Anika after so long.

I don't know what it is but I got that feeling (got that feeling)
Waking up in this bed next to you swear the room
Yeah, it got no ceiling
If we lay, let the day just pass us by
I might get to too much talking
I might have to tell you something
Damn, I like me better when I'm with you
I like me better when I'm with you
I knew from the first time, I'd stay for a long time 'cause
I like me better when
I like me better when I'm with you
Stay awhile, stay awhile
Stay here with me
Stay awhile, stay awhile, oh
Stay awhile, stay awhile
Stay here with me
Lay here with me, ayy-ayy, ayy-ayy, oh....

....Baby, this love
I'll never let it die
Can't be touched by no one
I'd like to see 'em try
I'm a mad man for your touch, girl, I've lost control
I'm gonna make this last forever, don't tell me it's impossible
'Cause I love you for infinity (oh-oh-oh)
I love you for infinity (oh-oh-oh)
'Cause I love you for infinity (oh-oh-oh)
I love you for infinity (oh-oh-oh)
Oh, darling, my soul
You know it aches for yours
And you've been filling this hole
Since you were born, oh
'Cause you're the reason I believe in fate, you're my paradise
And I'll do anything to be your love or be your sacrifice
I'm gonna make this last forever, don't tell me it's impossible'Cause I love you for infinity (oh-oh-oh)
I love you for infinity (oh-oh-oh)
'Cause I love you for infinity (oh-oh-oh)
I love you for infinity (oh-oh-oh)
Oh, darling, my soul
You know it aches for yours
And you've been filling this hole
Since you were born, oh
'Cause you're the reason I believe in fate, you're my paradise
And I'll do anything to be your love or be your sacrifice

Anika's POV-

Why don't you do a thing, sing Channa Mereya next. Whats wrong with this man? Why is he being Devdas? I am going to cry now.

I have dreamt of him for so long but now seeing him right infront of me once again is unnerving. How will I explain myself to him when he will ask me why I left without a word? What am I supposed to say that I loathed myself for hurting my loved ones by loving you? Loving him wasn't a mistake, but I can't deny that we were wrong.

I was wrong. I feel guilty. Its complicated. When I myself can't sort out my feelings, how can I explain it to him?

Shivaay's POV-

Its about sunset. Anika, where are you?

O there she is!! Standing behind the pillar.

Why is she behaving like a little girl who is hiding from her mother after breaking a glass plate? Seeing at her pitiful face, now I doubt whether I will be able to ask her why she disappeared back then.

She has grown thinner, her skin looks pale. Her dressing sense is completely different. But her eyes are still bright as ever.

I was thinking she had been looking at me all these time, but I suddenly feel something is wrong. Wait. What the hell. She is staring at the mike? Seriously...

She is not even looking at me. I am not going to sing any more-

===============

Shivaay went down the stage after finishing the song. Loud claps and cheering filled the field.

"So you finally met her?", Mrs. Gomes smirked. Her experience in reading faces and Shivaay's sudden joy

"Yes", Shivaay chuckled, sitting beside her.

"So what next?", she asked.

"Tonight would not go in vain", Shivaay revealed.

Anika stood still in the corner, desperately trying to read Shivaay's lips but the only thing she understood was 'tonight'.

"What is he thinking? Will he talk to me tonight? God please give me a boon to get invisible for one night. I will offer you hundred laddoos", Anika prayed.
