We finally arrived at Gabriela's house We saw police in front of Gabriela's house,

and saw Cedrik immediately at the corner talking to one of the cops.

We were confused and worried about what was going on. We approached him to get to the bottom of what was happening.

"What took you so long, guys?" With a worried expression, Cedrik said.

"What's going on here?" Yannic answered with a question.

"They were saying she had gone missing and that they couldn't find her anywhere," Cedrik said, fear growing in his eyes .

"What do you mean?" Ciara said, rushing in front of Cedrik.

Ciara's face was etched with concern and confusion as she tried to make sense of the situation.

"I want to go inside now," I said.

"Relax, Mc; the cops won't let you in," Cedrik says.

"So, what should we do next?" Jonathan asked, his eyes shifting nervously as he looked at his surroundings.

"Let's just relax for now," Phil said, smiling as he continued. " We need to lay low and figure out our next move." We all nodded in agreement, unsure of what lay ahead but certain that Phil had the right idea.

"Guys, I'm not feeling well." Ciara's face suddenly went pale, and he slumped against the wall.

"Let me drive you home; let's go," Cedrik proposed. We all looked at each other, unsure of what to do in the face of this unexpected turn of events Ciara's condition was concerning, and the suddenness of it made us all pause, but this is no time for this; we need to find out where Gabriela is.

Me:
"Are you guys serious? Gabriela is missing, and you guys want to go back? Ridiculous!" I stated that without thinking . Clearly, there was no time to waste.

"What are you doing here?" The cop shouted as he quickly came towards us. I froze in fear, but my friend took the initiative and stepped forward.

"Sorry, sir, but this is our friend Gabriela's house. We were worried about her, so we are here to check on her." The cop's expression softened as Cedrik spoke.

"Excuse me, sir, where is Gabriela and what happened to her?" I asked, though my heart was heavy with dread.

"We don't know anything yet, but we are trying our best to find her, so don't worry," the cop replied. trying to reassure us that everything will be all right.

His kind demeanor indicated that he understood the gravity of our situation and that he was doing his best to remain optimistic But his words failed to console us.

Our fear was palpable, and it seemed to hang heavily in the air between us when another cop came in bearing news.

"Sir, we've found a body in the nearby lake."

Oh, please don't be Gabriela. My heart sank as the words hit my ears, and I could feel my entire world crumbling around me The officer could see the fear in my eyes and quickly came towards me and said,

"And you should go home right away." The officer tried to console me, assuring me that everything was going to be alright and offering his condolences. I could only nod in response, tears streaming down my face.

My heart heavy with grief and fear, I slowly made my way, but I can still hear Cedrik's voice.

"Sir, let us see the body. Maybe we can help you." I stopped and quickly turned to face them.

"Yes, please, sir. Let us help!" I exclaimed.

"Okay, let's go," the cop said as he led the way.

We followed him to the lake, a feeling of dread and sadness washing over us.
