Hello hello!!
Welcome to the very last chapter of Unforgiving World! Another thank you to everyone who read this story, I appreciate the love I received!
Before I continue here, please know that there are huge MANGA SPOILERS in this chapter!!!!
MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Now, I am aware that all demon slayers who've awakened their demon slayer mark are bound to die before the age of 23, but for the happy ending I so desperately wanted, I will be scratching that rule off the board lol. Tanjiro and Amaya deserve to live a happy life together, so I'll be more than happy to grant them such a thing ;)
I will not be covering any of the manga chapters, as much as I would love to do such a thing. The manga would simply take way too long and I am not prepared to start on so many chapters.
I will be keeping Tanjiro's injuries in mind though, seeing as he has a crippled arm and blind eye after his fight with Muzan. Amaya's injuries are still the same as the ones she's gained throughout this story, but you'll see throughout the chapter ;)
Have fun reading this epilogue, and thank you all so much for reading!!

The sun shone brightly, doing its best to peek out from between the rustling leaves. Spring was just beginning, and it was absolutely beautiful. Flowers were blooming, the wind was present but still very much welcome. The sun was saying hello, birds gladly basking in its hot rays. A small white bird circled around a blooming sakura tree, its wings coasting in the current of the wind and its feathers tickling slightly. Its small eyes scanned the area carefully, both looking out for predators or a safe place to land.
Soon enough, a small yet lovely house came into view, plenty of wood and fertile flowers on the grass besides it. The little bird took one final look at its surroundings before slowly swerving down, taking its time to carefully plan its landing. With outstretched wings and flexed paws, it stuck the landing perfectly, soft and smooth wood settled right underneath it. Simply looking around the area while allowing its small body to take a rest, soft humming was heard a small distance away.
While birds most definitely tried to stay away from any human interaction, this little creature specifically was rather curious, not being able to stop its instinct of hopping towards the sound. A wooden door was wide open, the people inside thoroughly enjoying the spring air as a mother sung sweetly to a small, 5 year old child in her lap. Her voice was soft and quiet, not even being able to scare the little bird away.
"Hushabye, baby bunny on the hill. Tell me why your ears are so very long. Because when my mother was expecting me, she dined on long leaves from a tree. And that is why, my ears are so very long", sung the mother, her scarred hand carefully running alongside a little girls' red hair. The small child had her eyes closed in pure bliss, listening carefully to her mothers' words. "Mommy, where does this song come from?" asked the child, her voice high yet so very precious.
Her mother, Amaya Katsumi, allowed her grey and blue eyes to drift over to her daughter, smiling softly at the girl's familiar red-eyed gaze. "It's a lullaby from your fathers' family, Hanako. He was the one who introduced me to it", explained 27 year-old Amaya, continuing her sweet caresses on Hanako's head. "Your name, is also from his family. Hanako Kamado, it was his sisters' name. Did you know that?" The small girl awed in pure wonder, her red eyes shining in curiosity.
"Really?! I have aunties name?!" asked the girl excitedly, Amaya chuckling and nodding her head. Hanako crawled closer on her mothers' blanket, sitting up and grabbing a long strand of Amaya's purple hair. "Does little brother have a name from daddy's family too?" Amaya hummed and shook her head, looking outside to try and see where her son and husband were. "No, dear. Akio is named after my own little brother." Hanako voiced her colourful opinions right after Amaya was finished, the woman only quietly listening to what she had to say.
