Dominick stroked his wife's leg as they sat together on the sofa in their living room. Olivia was sitting with a book in her hands as she read through names that she hadn't even heard of before. This book was well loved and was the same book that Serafina had held when expecting all of her babies. The only one who didn't get named from this book was Dominick.
"How many middle names do you want?" Olivia asked as she flipped another page.
"Maybe two? I really don't want to use family names, especially since your family sucks and mine... well, you know," Dominick breathed. Olivia nodded slowly as she rested the book against her swell.
"We have time, Dom. If we can't come up with a name tonight, there are always the next twenty weeks or so," Olivia smiled. Dominick reached out and lifted the book from her belly and read over the page she had ended on.
"Okay, but I don't want to walk around talking about baby Carisi, and have someone ask for the name... and for us to not have one. Okay?"
"Okay," Olivia smiled.
Olivia laid down and closed her eyes as Dominick read the names out loud. He went through several pages before she opened her eyes quickly and smiled.
"Oh!"
"Oh?!" Dominick asked, as he glanced at her in concern. He examined Olivia's face, and she didn't look like she was in pain. She was smiling and looked excited.
"Read that last name again," Olivia beamed as she pushed herself up. Dominick took a slow breath before looking back down at the book.
"Dennis?" Dominick asked, his face not showing the amount of excitement that his wife's was.
"No! The one before it, silly," Olivia grinned. Dominick read the name above before reading it out loud for his wife.
"Milo?" He asked.
"Yes... I think it's such a cute name! Dom-"
"Milo Carisi," Dominick spoke over and over again.
After saying it several times, he smiled and nodded.
"Milo is pretty damn perfect for our son."

By church on Sunday, Olivia and Dominick had come up with their son's full name. They had yelled the name, whispered it, and even wrote it down on paper about a thousand times. This name was something they were completely certain about, and they couldn't wait to share it with their family.
"I can help with dinner," Olivia sighed, as she tied an apron around her body.
"Honey-" Serafina started, but Olivia stopped her with a sweet smile.
"We decided to have Sunday dinner at my house this week, so I can help. Let me help, Ma. Please," Olivia begged. Serafina looked Olivia over for a few moments before sighing and nodded.
"Sure, but sit and prep the veggies. Don't stand for too long," she replied. Chuckles filled the room as Olivia pouted and sat down on a stool.
"When I was pregnant with Mia, she wouldn't even let me in the kitchen," Teresa spoke, as she wrapped her arms around Olivia's shoulders and gave her a tight hug.
"I haven't even gotten to enjoy my kitchen yet," Olivia grumbled.
Out in the living room, Dominick sat with Elliot and chatted. Since they were having Sunday dinner in the city, instead of on Staten Island, Elliot's family agreed to join them. This allowed Dominick to talk to someone other than his wife, sisters, or mother.
"Olivia showed me a sonogram from her last appointment," Elliot spoke, as he looked at his partner's husband.
"Uh, what did you see?" Dominick coughed, as he sat his water down.
"She wouldn't let me see the one that labeled the baby a boy or girl," Elliot smiled.
"Oh, good. We are telling everyone tonight, and I didn't want you to ruin the surprise," Dominick replied. Elliot laughed and shook his head as he leaned back against the couch.
"I promised her I could keep a secret, but she told me she still wasn't allowed to tell me," Elliot sighed.
"We are trying to keep it a secret, but it's so hard. We haven't been this excited in a while," Dominick admitted. Elliot looked over at Dominick before smiling.
"Finding out that Maureen was a girl... that made becoming a parent completely real for us. Coming up with her name, buying cute little pink clothes, watching Kathy sew the christening gown... it was such an amazing time. It was incredibly exciting, and I fell deeper in love with my wife as I watched her grow our baby and plan for her," Elliot spoke.
Dominick knew Elliot was right. Watching Olivia grow swollen with their child made his love for her deepen and become even more real than he had ever thought could be possible. The moment the tech told them that their baby was a boy, Olivia started to cry and he held her close and smoothed her hair. He cried alongside of her, as their dreams came true.
"So can I know?" Elliot whispered, his words shaking Dominick from his thoughts.
"Nice try, Stabler."

Per usual, Senior didn't go to church with his family or join them for an early dinner afterwards. Since he was being distant and keeping away from anything having to do with his son, he missed the moment that Dominick stood behind Olivia and told their friends and family about the little boy that was growing safely in Olivia's belly.
"A boy?!" Serafina exclaimed, as she stood on shaky legs. She had been praying that Olivia and Dominick would have a boy, but even if the baby had been a girl instead, she would have been just as excited.
"Yes, Ma. A boy. Milo Elijah Dominick Carisi," Dominick beamed, as he stroked Olivia's shoulders.
"And is he okay? Completely healthy and adorable?" Bella asked, showing the most interest she has in a while. Even if she was excited to be an aunt, she couldn't help but feel the tension regarding this unborn baby.
"He looks like me, so he's adorable," Olivia grinned. Laughter filled the room as Dominick kissed the top of his wife's head.
"Now, can we discuss a baby shower? We need to spoil this baby," Gina spoke.
"We can't spoil him too much, but go ahead," Olivia smiled.
Serafina walked around the table once Dominick cleared the empty plates from the table. He stopped moving when his mother touched his arm.
"Ma?" Dominick breathed.
"Congrats, Sonny... You are going to be an amazing father to your little Milo... I'm so very proud of you," she breathed, before stepping forward and hugging her son tightly.
