TW: This chapter contains more discussion of SA and abuse.
Dominick got home early the next morning to shower and get a change of clothes. When he got home, his mother's car was still in the driveway. He was thankful that she hadn't left Olivia alone, but surprised to find her laying on his side of the bed, her hand gently caressing his wife's messy brown hair.
"Ma? Why are you in here?" Dominick whispered. His mother looked up at him as a tear slipped down her cheek.
"She had a really rough night, sweetie."
"Why are you crying? What is happening?" Dominick demanded. His mother sat up slightly before speaking quietly.
"Rick abused her."
"Huh?" Dominick asked.
"He used to beat her and sexually assault her," Serafina whispered. Dominick drew in a sharp breath as hot tears burned his eyes.
"I'm going to kill him," Dominick growled.
"No-" Serafina started, but stopped when her son turned on his heel and rushed from the room.
Dominick would not let that bastard just walk around as if he didn't do some horrible thing to Olivia. If Dominick had anything to say about it, he'd never walk again.

Even before the sun came up, Dominick was sitting outside of the Worth house. He kept an eye on it, as he waited for backup.
"So what's happening?" Elliot asked as he climbed into the passenger side of Dominick's car.
"I'm going to kill Rick," Dominick announced. Elliot looked at him with wide eyes before shaking his head.
"I don't think I heard you correctly, Sonny. Tell me again," Elliot spoke.
"I'm. Going. To. Kill. Rick."
"No, you aren't. Tell me what's happening. Did they come after Olivia?"
"Olivia went off on Serena yesterday when we were buying stuff for Milo's nursery. Then she told my mother last night that he used to beat and sexually assault her. So I'm going to make him pay for hurting her," Dominick spoke angrily.
Elliot sighed softly and scrubbed a hand down his face.
"We can't kill him, but we can scare him. He won't press charges because then everyone will know what he did to Olivia. He's a lawyer, and that will follow him around forever," Elliot spoke calmly.
"He touched her," Dominick whimpered, his voice breaking as he spoke. Elliot reached out and gently squeezed his shoulder.
"He will never touch her again, okay? Between me and you, she'll never be hurt by him again."
Dominick nodded weakly as tears slipped down his cheeks. He hated that his wife was abused a good portion of her life at the hands of a man that was nothing but a piece of shit.
"He's leaving the house. C'mon," Elliot spoke. They quickly climbed out of the car and jogged up to where Rick was unlocking his car.
"Hey, asshole!" Dominick yelled, as he stomped towards him. Rick turned towards them and sighed.
"What do you two want?" He sighed.
"She told us what you did."
"Who are you-"
"We know that you sexually assaulted Olivia and used to beat her," Elliot growled.
"That lying-" Rick stopped when Dominick swung and punched him square in the nose. Rick swore and fell to the ground, grasping his nose.
Elliot and Dominick took turns kicking him before Elliot leaned down close to him.
"If you report us, we will tell everyone that you assaulted your step-daughter when she was a minor. If you don't go to jail, you'll lose your job instead. Your family."

Olivia woke up after Dominick got home from beating Rick up. He was in the bathroom as he washed blood from his knuckles. Olivia slowly moved into the bathroom and gave her husband a tired smile.
"Hi."
"Hey, baby. How'd you sleep?" Dominick asked, as he quickly turned off the water and grabbed a towel.
"I think Ma held me, or at least kept a hand on me all night."
"She adores you, Liv," Dominick replied. He turned to look at his wife, and she became more alert.
"Why is there red stains on your shirt?" Olivia questioned.
"Liv-"
"Don't lie to me. What happened?" Olivia demanded. Dominick swallowed hard as he unbuttoned his shirt.
"Ma told me what Rick used to do to you," Dominick breathed. Olivia closed her eyes tightly and caressed her belly.
"I didn't want you to know... I'm embarrassed that I didn't fight back... but how did you get blood on you?"
"Elliot and I took care of him. He knows not to report us, and he's scared because we know what he did. He can't hide now," Dominick replied.
Olivia swallowed hard before stepping forward and hugging her husband tightly. She said nothing, especially since things were so confusing and hard right now.
"Please don't do that again," Olivia whispered.
"I will try my hardest to not be violent, okay?"
"Thank you," Olivia whispered.

Olivia sat down and told her husband everything that had happened. Telling the man she was spending her life with about her childhood trauma definitely helped her process it more. To ensure that she could be there for Milo and Dominick in the future, she needed to be all there. She didn't need to be scared of being triggered and shutting down completely.
"Gonna be fine today?" Dominick asked, as Olivia walked him out to his car. Olivia told everyone that she'd be fine today, so Serafina could head home and Dominick could head to work.
"Yeah, I'll be fine. I think I'll clean Milo's room and get it ready for when the furniture gets delivered," Olivia smiled. She reached out and grabbed her husband's tie and pulled him close. He laughed softly, before leaning down and kissing Olivia's lips gently.
"Don't overdo it today, okay? Take a nap and get rested for work tomorrow."
"Okay, I can do that. But you gotta get to work so I can lounge around and be lazy," Olivia grinned. Dominick kissed his wife a few more times before hesitantly leaving her.
Olivia waved at her husband as he drove away, before turning and moving slowly back towards the house. Olivia was just opening the front door when someone honked their horn. She turned around and swallowed hard when she saw her mother's van.
