Chapter Seventeen

"Oh...uh...hey dad." I squeaked turning to face Bruce.

Most of the other members of the League looked shocked and looked between the both of us.

"You have a daughter!?" The flash exclaimed in shock.

Bruce didn't say anything and just continued to glare at me through his mask.

"It's a funny story here dad I uh..." I trailed off trying to think of a good excuse.

"Deliberately disobeyed me."

I cringed slightly and glanced back at the guys. "You going to back me up here?"

Wally whistled and walked around aimlessly while Jason and Dick just stood there uneasily.

"Cowards." I muttered under my breath before turning to look back at Bruce.

"We're going home. Now." He said sternly.

I nodded and followed after him along with Dick and Jason.

"I can't believe you would put her in danger again!" Bruce yelled at Dick and Jason.

"They didn't put me in danger! I went there on my own!!" I shouted. "And I can handle myself! I wasn't in any type of danger!!"

"You could've been killed Emma and your brothers did nothing to stop you!"

"When will you have some faith in me!? And they are not my brothers!!! We're not related in any way!! I'm a Tyson, Jason's a Todd, and Dick's a Greyson!!"

"Your a Wayne."

"No I'm not, I'm a Tyson. If you were there to sign my birth certificate I would be a Wayne." I snapped.

I turned to leave but paused and kissed Dick catching him by surprise. I looked over my shoulder at Bruce briefly before storming up the stairs to my room and slamming my door shut.

"I take it that your chat with your dad went well."

I jumped slightly at the voice and looked around my room to see some of the Young Justice members. Aqualad, Wally, Artemis, Miss Martian, and Superboy.

I glared over at Wally and he just shrugged. "They wanted to meet you."

"Your the girl that Dick was trying to protect." Superboy said looking at me closely.

"And your Connor Kent." I said shocking everyone except Wally.

"How do you-?" Aqualad started.

"Call it my superpower, Kaldur." I said cutting him off. "Oh and Megan please stop trying to get in my head. I have enough of a headache as is. And Artemis? Really? How long did it take you to come up with that?"

They all looked at each other and I rolled my eyes. "It took me three months to figure out Dick and Jason were Nightwing and Robin, so I'm not going to embarrass myself by not figuring out who you all are."

"Really it took you three months?" Wally questioned with a smirk.

"It took me a second to figure out who you were Wally West, so zip it." I hissed.

"How do you do it? Figure out who we all are?"

"Advance computer software I created myself, to analyze, process data, see through solid objects, and go through millions of files in under five seconds, to find the best possible matches for descriptions and or pictures, then I simply narrow down the right one myself, which doesn't take long." I explained in one breath.
