Jin’s POV

This shitty hangover!

I groaned loudly as my body refused to leave my bed. With one slight move from me, my head experienced an intensely unbearable pain because of the uncountable amount of drinks that I drank last night. I couldn’t even remember how many drinks I consumed last night which just shows how frustrated I was.

I covered my eyes with my forearm as I let out a tiring sigh and cringed slightly at the smell of my breath. It stinks of alcohol. I burrowed myself further under my blanket as I started shivering due to the coldness and then I realized I slept naked with only my boxer. I quickly glanced at the clothes I dumped on the floor and then looked at the window that was still covered by the black curtain. Although it was covered, I could still see the light coming from the sun.

I forced myself to move, ignoring the throbbing pain, and managed to take a look at the clock near my bed by tilting my head. It showed that it was already 12:45 p.m., causing my eyes to widen.

“Fuck!” I cursed as I instantly sit up which was not the best decision to do when you're hangover cause my head hurts like shit, “Damn shit, it's fucking afternoon already,”

I never slept past 12 before.

I ruffled my hair aggressively and grabbed my phone which was luckily placed safely on the table beside my bed. I clicked my tongue as I saw the notifications on my phone.

[Missed calls (10) from Eomma (✿◠‿◠)]

...

From: Eomma (✿◠‿◠)

> What do you want to eat for dinner later, baby boy? (づ ◕‿◕ )づ

> What time are you coming? Before 6 pm?

> You are going to come right?

> Jin-ah? Jin?

> SON! (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞

...

The texts continued again after that and considering how she texted me, it seemed like she was worried. Figures, since I always answered her texts and calls on time without delay. I sighed, massaging my head because it kept on throbbing. All I wanted was to clean myself up and eat some hangover soup so that I could remain sober and refresh myself. But I could not delay answering her calls and texts any further.

She’ll worry as hell if I don’t call now.

I pressed her contact and she instantly picked up.

[SON! My baby boy are you okay?!]

I winced at the sudden loud voice, “Eomma, please not so loud,”

[Why? What’s wrong? Are you okay? Your appa and I were so worried that you did not answer our text messages and phone calls!]

“I’m fine, eomma,” I said, convincing her while my fingers were still pinching my head, “I just had a drink last night with the boys,”

[Are you sure it’s just a drink?]

I could imagine her raising her eyebrows, “Alright, I drank more than one glass,”

[Figures. You weren’t answering my texts and calls because you were still sleeping, didn’t you?]

“Yes,” I answered truthfully because my mom is not someone I could lie to since she will see through my lies, even without facing me, “I think I was extremely exhausted that I slept in. I’m sorry for not replying to your messages and answering your calls, eomma,”
