Hayley's P.O.V.

We played till around 5-ish and I was starting to get a little bit better at the game. At least I thought so. Tay? Not so much...

"You hungry?" She asked. I nodded. My stomach felt empty and I needed food!

"Very..." I said.

"Do you want some pizza?" She asked.

"Sure! Pizza sounds good." I replied. Tay called a pizza place and I decided to check my phone. It said that I missed a call from Jenna and that she left a message. While Tay was busy ordering food, I excused myself and left her room to listen to the message.

"Hey Hayley... I know you don't want to talk to me, but I promise nothing will happen. I miss my best friend and I miss having fun and hanging out!" She whined, "Anyways... I don't expect you to call back, but i just want to talk to you and ask how things are going, like old times. Even if you don't want to talk to me right now, could you at least message me and let me know if we can still be friends? I gotta go, but please let me know. Bye, I guess..." And then the message ended. I looked at my phone stunned. What do I do?

"What's up?" Said Tay. I didn't know she was behind me. I jumped at first.

"You just scared the crap out of me!" I said, putting my hand over my heart.

"At least you didn't have a heart attack?" She half asked. I hit her in the arm lightly as she continued to laugh at me.

"What kind of pizza did you order?" I asked.

"Cheese pizza and soda." She said.

"How long do you think it's gonna take for the pizza dude to get here?" I asked.

"eh... 15, maybe 20 minutes?" She said.

"Cool..." I said awkwardly.

"so whatcha wanna do?" She asked. I shrugged my shoulders and sat down on the couch.

"what do you think our next move should be?" I asked.

"I'm not sure... Are we even that convincing?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" I said. She sat down on the couch and stared at the wall.

"Is it even believable?" She asked again.

"In what way?" I said. I looked at her confused. She shrugged.

"I don't know... I guess kissing is convincing enough. Plus, we went all out with the date and making it look like it, right?"

"Yeah, unless there's a way we could improve, I think we did fine." I said.

"I just hope it doesn't look fake..." She said. "If people found out about this then we would lose everyone's respect and Jenna would probably hate us forever." She said. I thought of an idea. Maybe I can see if I do like her if I pay attention to the kiss. You're supposed to get butterflies or some corny crap when it happens, right?

"Maybe we should practice so it doesn't look so fake?" I said questioningly.

"Yeah, sure" she said. We turned to face each other. My heartbeat was starting to pick up. When we were on the date it didnt feel so pressured. Even though it usually should be the other way around.

"If this is too awkward, we don't have to..." I blurted out. Tay giggled and put her hand on my thigh.

"I don't mind. Practice makes perfect." She said. She tilted her head and leaned in. I closed my eyes and leaned in as well. Her lips were soft and molded nicely to mine. She was a good kisser, and I thought I might actually like her, but I just don't know. My heartbeat was still racing and my palms were a bit sweaty. one of her hands went to the back of my neck and started playing with the whisps of my hair. She pulled away slowly and opened her eyes back up.

"Not bad, Williams. You still have some work to do though. Next time, be a little bit more relaxed. Less ridged, and try to act like your enjoying my terrible kissing, okay?" She said.

"You're not a terrible kisser. It's just that I feel a little awkward." I admitted.

"we don't have to do this. You know that right? All you have to do is tell me to stop" she said. Honestly though, I didn't want her to stop. I know I don't like her or anything, but it still felt good. Having warmth and contact with someone else. I nodded and she smiled slightly. We leaned in again and this time I held nothing back. Her hand was still on the back of my neck. I grabbed her other and pulled it over to my waist. I ran my hand through her hair while the other cupped her face. I tried to be less stiff and more free flowing with the kiss and apparently I didn't do so bad. Before I realized what we were doing, I was straddling Tay and both her hands were on my waist pulling me closer. My hips moved a little and she moaned into my mouth. It felt so good and I didn't want it to end. Her hand slipped up under my shirt and that was when I knew I had to stop it from getting to far. I jumped off of her and tried to get myself together.

"I'm s-so s-sorry." I stuttered. Tay's eyes went wide.

"I'm sorry, it's my fault!" She said.

"no, I was the one on your lap" I said.

"I was the one enjoying it far too much" she said. I could feel my face getting red.

"really?" I asked. My voice came out more high pitched than intended. She could tell I was nervous.

"yeah, I'm sorry..." She said.

"you're not the only one" I said.
