Jenna's P.O.V.

I had noticed how tired and gloomy Tay had been lately. I tried my best to be cheery and supportive, but it never changed anything. The only thought that would run through my head was 'Hayley could make her happy'. Why can't I? I'm her girlfriend? Then again, Hayley was her girlfriend too. Even if it was for a short amount of time. It was my fault that Tay wasn't happy. I looked at the clock. She would be home any minute now. I'm going to do my best to cheer her up. If I can't, then I'll know that I shouldn't be with her. I'm only dragging her down.

Tay's P.O.V.

Seeing chad and Hayley together at first, really pissed me off. Then I saw how much happier she seemed. I realized how much her smile had shown and it was genuine. Was I dragging her down? What about Jenna? Do I just screw up everyone's life? I took a few deep breaths and then entered the apartment.

"I'm back home" I said.

"Hey there babe" Jenna said as she walked into the entryway. She wrapped her arms around me and pecked my lips. I put on a smile and snaked my arms around her waist.

"So..." I said.

"So..." She repeated.

"I'm tired. Do you want to watch a movie or something?" I asked.

"Where did you walk? Your jacket smells like cigarettes" she said with a concerned look on her face. I let go of her.

"It's nothing" I looked at the ground as I walked towards the room. "I'm gonna take a shower" I said.

"Tay, what's wrong?" She asked. I felt her grab my wrist. What's the point in hiding everything about me anymore?

"We need to talk. First in going to take a shower though" I said.

"Okay." She said. I could see her slightly deflated. It made me feel like shit. I pulled my wrist out of her grip and I walked to the room. I got my clothes and then I walked to the bathroom. I got in the shower and tried to think of how much I was going to tell her. I was sick of lying and keeping it all bottled up. If she wanted to break up afterwards, I would understand. I deserved it. And she deserved to know everything. I turned off the shower and got dressed and everything. I exited the bathroom and walked into the living room to see Jenna asleep on the couch. She looked so cute that I couldn't help but smile and admire her. She was absolutely stunning. I quietly walked over to the couch and sat on the arm of it. Her eyelids fluttered open.

"What did you want to talk about?" She asked as she rubbed her eyes. She sat up and I took a seat next to her.

"Jenna, you deserve everything. Even the truth. You might not like hearing some of these things, but I can't just keep lying to you or misleading you." I said. I took her hands in mine and looked in her eyes.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm going to tell you... Everything" I said.

"Like what?" She asked.

"First of all... I've been really stressed lately and I picked up a bad habit. I smoke" I said.

"That's not too bad. Just brush your teeth and I can kiss you again" she joked.

"Jenna, I'm serious. There's more. I just thought I'd say the thing that's easier to admit first" I said. Her smile dropped and her mouth hung open slightly.

"Sorry"

"No, I'm sorry. I don't deserve you. Anyways... Hayley and I never actually dated..." I said.

"What?"

"We faked it because she was trying to get us together"

"Why did she want us together?" Jenna said.

"Because she knew how much I liked you"

"Oh" was her only reply.

"Then... After we started dating... Hayley and I kept seeing each other." I said. She slowly pulled away from me and shook her head in disbelief.

"You wouldn't. You're better than momsen" she said as tears brimmed her eyes.

"I'm so sorry. I did and you don't deserve that" I said.

"How could you?" She said as a tear escaped.

"I was being stupid. Jenna, I love you, but I don't deserve you. I want to though." I said.

"Tay. Get your shit together. I'm gonna go back to Vic's and we're going to be on a break." She said standing up.

"Jenna-" she cut me off.

"No Tay. Until you decide who you really want and you mean it, we aren't together" she said. The tears were flowing and the emotions were at an all time high at this point.

"I know I screwed up. I'm telling you because I HAVE made up my mind" I said.

"I still need a bit to think about this whole thing. I'm gonna get my things and go. Bye Tay" she said. She went to the bedroom and locked the door. I could hear her crying and packing things. Twenty minutes later she walked out of the room with her bags and walked out the door. I went to follow her but she told me not to. "Give me a week" she said as she turned and walked down to where Vic was. He shook his head at me disapprovingly as Jenna walked passed him. I ran back into the living room and started crying my eyes out.
