"Breaking Up"

Tay's P.O.V.

I didn't know what the hell I was going to do. Hayley didn't feel anything so it's not like it will hurt her feelings. Jenna had left ten minutes ago, but I was still sitting on the couch staring at my phone. It was just an act, but why do you still feel weird about this? Maybe you're just not used to Jenna being like this towards you... Fuck it. I picked up the phone and called her.

"What happened?" She asked.

"She wants to be with me" I said in a monotone.

"Isn't that a good thing?" She asked.

"Yeah, I just can't believe it's actually happening" I said.

"I guess it finally worked this time" she said. I thought I heard sarcasm in her voice, but maybe it was just the way she sounded on the phone.

"I guess it did" I said.

"See you on the other side then... With Jenna" she said.

"Yeah..." She hung up. For some reason I felt so... Guilty? No... I don't even know what I'm feeling. I'm not over Jenna... Am I? My phone vibrated and I saw that I had a text from Jenna.

Jenna:Do you wanna hang out later?

Me:Where at?

Jenna:Go to a bar, then maybe a movie... After that we could go to the park?

Wasn't that my suggestion for her two year anniversary? With Taylor!?!

Me: really?

Jenna:No, I'm just kidding. I was serious about the park though.

me: okay, I'll see you there at?

Jenna: I'll pick you up at six

me:it's a date then

Jenna: that it is jardine ;)

I realized that I was smiling. I read the message over and over again. This really is happening.

Hayley's P.O.V.

I was with Jeremy and Taylor when I got a phone call. I saw that it was Tay. I excused myself from the conversation and walked into the hall of Jeremy's apartment.

"What happened?" I asked. I hope Jenna didn't make a move on her. Jenna is my friend and all, but I noticed her shooting daggers at me with her death glare. I thought she would be more mature than me. Also, I may have developed some feelings for Tay.

"She wants to be with me" she doesn't sound too happy either. Why? She's getting what she's been wanting for years.

"Isn't that a good thing?" I asked.

"yeah, I just can't believe it's actually happening" she said.

"I guess it finally worked this time" I said bitterly.

"I guess it did" she said.

"see you on the other side then.. With Jenna" I replied.

"Yeah..." She added. I hung up and I could feel my face heating up. Anger, sadness, hopelessness, it was all present. I walked over to the guys.

"I have to go, I'll see you guys later" I said.

Off to the bar!
