The Party

Anastasia
I am having fun except for the person who the party is for Elena Lincoln and something about her rankles my nerves and I have seen her before now. She has positioned herself next to Christian and I am on his other side. She keeps making odd comments about something I said and tries to belittle anything I am saying and commented about anything. I try to be polite and then it happens she accuses me of being there to seduce Christian Grey billionaire and I blow up at her. I finally just stop talking about anything and let her shine. That was what she wanted anyway. I wasn't going to let her chase me a2ay from the table. That was exactly what she wanted to happen. Her every comment was meant to chase me away from all the Grey family and I am very sure of that.

Carrick
I saw how Elena targeted Anastasia Steele like she was a predator looking to hook Christian or Elliott. I also saw her trying to paw all over Christian like he was hers and she was not going to let anyone else get him or get his attention away from her. I don't think Grace noticed how she was pawing over Christian. But Anastasia stayed in her seat and became quiet and got Christian's attention by just sitting there listening to the conversation. Elena no longer could sabotage anything she said because she wasn't saying anything to criticize any longer. I have to admire Anastasia for recognizing what Elena was doing, I doubt Christian wants anything to do with Elena since she is twice plus his age and she has tried to set up a meeting with him and he has told her he is too busy and isn't interested in investing in a beauty salon of any kind. A song comes on and Christian asks Anastasia to dance and she agrees to and Christian whispers to me and his mother he has had it with Elena and mom should avoid her at all costs because her bomb blast story was actually Anastasia's story. Elena had no on die in a bomb blast at all.

Christian
I tell him we are leaving after the dance. I sent dad the background checks on Anastasia and Elena. I tell him to read them both and then send them on to mom. We dance and we finally get to talk about things and she mentions that Elena is using the bomb blast of her parents as her story and that is why a friend of hers wanted her here tonight so she could find out what was happening and that someone was using it. I listen to her as we dance and I ask if we can keep in contact with each other. I give her my number and she takes it and gives me hers as well. She says we can be friends maybe.

Anastasia
I enjoyed dancing with Christian and he seems nice and we could possibly be friends and maybe have coffee together sometime. I am far from ready for anything romantic at all. We talk a lot and finally we walk to our separate cars and drive away back to our homes. I am sure people think we went home together. We most certainly didn't though. I am betting Elena Lincoln will think just that because he had his arm around my waist as he escorted me back to get my car and then he assured I was safely inside it. I have a big week and going into SIP is going to be hard and even harder when I have to let go of employees for a good reason. I am going armed and read for action and my guards know I am having two people fired and charges pressed after we get the evidence on them both.

Elliott
I finally get friend off and bump into Kate Kavanagh as she is trying to get information about the bomb blast from Elena, something tells me she doesn't believe Elena had anyone involved in a bomb blast and Elena insist on not talking about at this point in time. Just then mom notices me and the other two and has us join her back at the table since Christian left and she could use more conversation at the table. I escort the ladies to our table. Kate talks away and really controls the conversation and I notice Elena watching everything being said and done. Something about her makes my skin crawl. Mia has kept her distance and Kate has been taking note of what has been said and mostly by Elena. I noticed her ears perked up any time Christian was mentioned and especially when mom said Christian and Anastasia left at the same time and she saw them giving each other there business cards before they left. Mom was giving dad the wedding hopeful eyes like she did when I brought Kate over to the table. I felt a hand on my knee and thought it was Kate's until I realized it was Elena's and I pulled it off and stood up and asked Kate to dance. She took my hand and we quietly left to go to the dance floor.

Kate
I can't believe that woman put her hands on Elliott and was not subtle about where her hand was headed and did it where I could see her do it. I think she meant for me to see her predatory actions as if to say stay away from him because I am laying my claim on him, well he rejected her immediately and hope she understands that he did. I just doubt she will stop pursuing him sexually. I noticed she and Grace had words so I am thinking Grace might have seen Elena touch Elliott. Unless Carrick noticed her movements as she actually moved closer to him. We spoke about it as we danced and he said he was going to tell his mom and dad about her actions so they never include her in any family activities from now on.
