The Aftermath

I am just getting everything from the attorneys and the reports of the bombing. It doesn't make any sense at all about why my parents were killed in a bomb blast. I doubt they had any enemies and they did a lot of good for others and the economy. I sit here looking through all my reports and get an alarm about my latest bid on another first edition and someone has again outbid me on yet again. They went way over the value as usual and I am sure it is the same anonymous bidder who keeps outbidding me at the very end of the auction.

I won the first edition that I have been looking for and I paid more than the value thanks to the other bidder running it up. I think it the same bidder that keeps running me up all this time. But all of us are kept anonymous and I can't blame the site for that fact. I smile as I pay for my purchase and finalize everything and smirk as I look for my next first edition. It is my way of relaxing after dealing with so many people on major deals, I lost out on bidding on SIP and I heard someone named Steele won the bidding and they are an expanding company here in Seattle. The back ground checks are confusing and Taylor has told me to stop digging into them further. So we have stopped because I trust Taylor when he tells me to stop and has a serious face on. I get up and head to the shower and get ready for a dreary party my parents have invited me to for a person that recently lost her family. I heard her name, but it never sank in to me.

I have been asked to throw a party to make Elena Lincoln feel better about losing her family in a bomb blast. I don't know the exact details because she keeps crying every time I bring it up. I really had to try my best because not many like Elena and she is trying hard to fit in with us. Carrick hopes the party won't last long and will end quickly.

Carrick
I hate parties and social events, but I have to attend them and pretend to enjoy other's company for a while and laugh at stupid jokes and look at kids photos. I guess we showed enough of our on photos when the kids were growing up, so we should be prepared for others showing theirs. We can't wait to show photos of our grandchildren. I get dressed to meet Elena Lincoln and apparently throw her party to make her feel better about losing her family from a bomb blast. She really has said nothing about it except it was a bomb blast. I am beginning to think she is lying about it.

Elliott
I just am going to show up at the party and leave if it doesn't have some hot babes and in need of some love. She better not be the clinging type. Mom said she has invited a few single young people and they are single. She told me not to treat them like I usually do. In other words I can't have one night stands with them. I hope Christian arrives before I do. I get my best suit on and headed out to mom and dads for the party. I am sure it is going to suck.

I can't believe that I am going to a party for one of mom's acquaintances and try to cheer her up after her family was in a bomb blast. How a party can cheer anyone after that is making me wonder about my mom or my moms acquaintance and if it is true or she is just trying to meet some of my mothers friends and us. I have never met her prior to this and it baffles me how my mom met her. Mom is naïve about people at times. I really wished she would be more selective in the people she associates with. She is too kind at times  and it gets her in trouble at times. Being a pediatric surgeon and a pediatrician she has to be kindhearted and she has to be alert to her patients needs and to protect them.

I was asked to attend a party and couldn't get out of it and my date called and cancelled on me and insisted I go without him because I might find out something interesting. He wouldn't tell me what it might be, but said I would find it interesting. So I am dressed for a party in my only nice dress. It matches my blue eyes and it has straps and shows my back and gives a nice view of my chest. The skirt has a nice slit going to my kneecap in front and back. I put on the sapphire earrings, necklace and bracelet's that match the dress and then my matching Manolo Blanhiks heels and grab my matching purse and then my jacket and keys. I have my driver get my keys to my blue Audi and we are on our way. I walk in and show the invitation that my friend had delivered to me. I am met by Mrs Grace Grey and Mr Carrick Grey who chat with me for a few moments and they tell me Elena Lincoln is who they are throwing the party for her. She tells me not to ask about the bomb blast and I frown and ask about it and think about how odd it is to meet another person about who had dealings about bomb blast. I decided to find out more about this Elena Lincoln. I don't get far when Elliott Grey introduces himself to me. He has one thing on his mind, but I don't and I thank him for his interest and I think he is worthy, but I am not a one night kind of girl. I suddenly bump into a man who catches me right before I fall into the pool. We right ourselves and Elliott laughs so hard he ends up in the pool. Which we both laugh at Elliott and we go find a towel for Elliott. The man introduces himself as Christian Grey and Elliott's brother, soon their sister introduces herself to me. I am dragged to their table since I am alone.
