A Charity Gala

Mia has been working hard to showcase her talents of event management along with her design efforts. She has really been a force to reckon with. I guess having a surgeon, an attorney and two billionaire brothers who have been strong examples it had to have some effects on her abilities to have a strong hand in doing something she is great at and it isn't just one thing, but she excels in so many things. The only thing Kate had an issue with on the new home was one thing and it is that Elliott was gone for so long in getting it ready. That had nothing to do with Mia though. The special orders on things delayed it being done at Christmas. Valentine's Day worked out perfectly. I have invited numerous people from work to the gala that Mia did all on her own. Elliott and Christian paid Mia enough to rent and remodel a building to get her offices and catering business open. I visited it and it is a one stop shopping for any event. Plus design and decorating as well. Who wouldn't want Mia to design anything for them.

I was given an invitation to the charity gala and so were a lot of the single people from the hospital. There is going to be an auction of the first dances of both the single men and women and there will be a lot of different people attending it and it is being held at the Grey mansion. At first I thought it was going to be at dr Trevelyn's hone, but it is going to be held at the home of Kate and Elliott Grey. It is going to showcase Mia's and Elliott's work combined and will be shown in the society pages and a few magazines will be there as well. Baxter asked if I was bringing anyone? I told him my sister Lisa wants to come with me. How often do you get an invitation to a Grey home?

I guess I could find someone to bring with me as well. My cousin just happens to be in town this weekend. Hanover Smith is a card carrying bachelor for life and he says he is going to stay single and childless, he might not have any children in name, he has them though. He paid the young ladies very well and trust funds via attorneys are at least two that anyone knows about. But he got around. So Hanover is joining me and he is thrilled about the dance auctions. He thinks it's amazing and is going to buy at least one dance and he is going sell his dance and finally talked me into selling mine since it is a charity even. It is for the Coping Together which helps with parents with addictions and their children.

What amazing timing I have and I am going to meet Mia Grey of all people. I hope to meet her and buy her first dance. I am getting ready for the gala and so is Baxter he says a lot of people are going to be there and a lot of single people as well. There will be auctions of first dances and other items donated by a lot of people who sponsor the event. Things are already set for donated items otherwise I might donate something. My yacht is moored here is Seattle and I could and did donate a day out on it with my staff. I actually spoke to Mia Grey of all people to set the donation up. It will need to be used within the year and hopefully in the two months I am here. Baxter donated use of his cabin in New York. It is a nice cabin, but I think it is too far for some to get to.

Mia
I really hate these last minute donations, but it is a nice donations so I have it added to the bottom of the list and we get the name and the picture of the yacht and we're set to go. The guy was over the top flirting with me. I ignore it and finally get all the information and where it is docked and apparently it is at the yacht club and will be there for six months or more depending on if the owner stays longer. Typical playboy on the phone and definitely in person. I have never heard of the name Hanover Smith, but it has an oddly familiar sound to it, I just can't figure out why. He tries to get a bit to familiar with me so I give him the if that is all and I have to get things completed for the gala. I finally am able to end the call and get things completed for the gala and another three events going on this weekend.

Gretchen
Lisa looks stunning and she is keeping something from me and I am not sure what it is, but she is anticipating going to the gala more than I am and I can't figure out why yet. I wear my dress and shoes and I look like a bag lady compared to her. She goes to her closet and gets another dress and she turns me into Cinderella going to the ball. We are being picked up by a limo and they will wait to bring us home. She is paying for all of it but I don't know how.

I can't believe my luck and I am finally going to get to see the home Elliott bought for that skank wife of his Kate Kavanagh. It should be mine. He should be mine and I have a plan to get him back from her. Gretchen has no idea Elliott and I were a thing at one time. He won't take my calls and he has bodyguards who keep me away from him, tonight they will all be too busy to notice me at the gala.
