"Jena, you're not going to lunch?" Alice asked Jena who was about to part ways from her as the two usually go to lunch together.

"I can't. I have a lot of work to do. I'll be in the library." Jena responded to Alice, hurrying to the library. "I'll see you soon."

Alice pouted, watching her best friend leave her. It wasn't the first time she's done it, maybe once a week for the past 3 weeks now as midterms are coming up. Jaehyun walked up towards Alice, wrapping his arm around his girlfriend as he also watched Jena leave.

"Is she going to the library again?" Jaehyun asked his girlfriend, rubbing her shoulders with his wrapped hand. Alice silently nodded. "Jungwoo's been telling me she's been getting a lot of work and extremely stressed."

"I know... but she honestly needs a break." Alice spoke worriedly. "She was always a good student but I've never seen her so stressed before."

"We can bring food to the library for her." Jaehyun suggested while Alice smiled.

"We can do that." Alice agreed and held hands with Jaehyun, walking to the lunch room.

Alice and Jaehyun got to their usual table with their friends; Hanseol, Taeyong, Johnny, Jungwoo, and Doyoung and sat down together.

"Where's Jena?" Doyoung asked out of curiosity since he remembers that she's always walking with Alice to the library. Most of the guys were shocked that Doyoung would ask such a question, but kept their chill.

"She's at the library, studying." Alice slumped into the chair, pulling out her lunch box to eat her lunch. "She hasn't eaten yet."

Doyoung was a bit worried that she hasn't been eating her proper meals with everyone for the past couple of weeks. He closed his eye, and took a deep breath for a moment. Suddenly, he started packing his belongings, making everyone shocked. "I'll get going. I'll see you all later."

No one had a chance to say goodbye to Doyoung since he was already rushing out of the lunch room, confused with his sudden action.

"Is it just me or at least Doyoung and Jena are not fighting like 2 year olds anymore?" Yuta took a bite out of his banana.

"I don't know, but it sounds like Doyoung has some character development. I'll bet that they'll date soon." Johnny made a comment and Taeyong darted his eyes towards him, making his hands go up in surrender. "Okay okay, I was just creating some possibilities."

"I mean..." Jungwoo placed his index fingers together, making the puppy face that he usually does, creating some innocence. "Jena's been telling me that Doyoung's been driving her home recently because she felt bad for holding me back because of the mechanical engineering project that everyone in the engineering school has to do...."

"Cute." Jaehyun smiled with his dimples and Alice slapped his arm, just because. "Ouch...."

"I mean, I don't see a problem with them dating." Hanseol continued the conversation, shrugging his shoulders. "At least Doyoung can move on."

"I'm not worried about Doyoung, I'm worried about Jena." Taeyong placed his elbows on the table and his head on his hands. "She has a lot on her mind."

"Honestly, at least they're not fighting anymore." Jaehyun made a really good point. "So I would just let time pass and see."

"Honestly, I don't mind Doyoung dating my best friend." Alice bluntly spoke, with a smile on her face. "I think they would look pretty cute together."

Jena was studying for her exam through her paper notes and continuous flash cards. She was so focused that she didn't even realize that a shadow was coming over her.

"Jena." Doyoung tapped on her shoulder. She turned around after finishing a flash card and looked up towards him.

"Hmm?" Jena looked up towards him with her pouty eyes, unintentionally.

Doyoung pulled out a piece of bread and banana milk from his backpack and placed it next to Jena. He then also pulled up a chair next to her. "You need to eat, please. Alice is worried. We're all worried."

Jena beamed a smile and took the banana milk and the bag of bread, now drinking and eating. "Thank you. I appreciate it very much." Jena placed her hand on Doyoung's arm, patting it.

"Mhm." Doyoung hummed and silently watch Jena finish the entire thing. She went to the trash can and threw it away and she came back to her spot, sitting back down.

"Don't worry too much about me. I just have a lot of work. That's all." Jena reassured Doyoung.

"Yeah, but you rarely give time to yourself. You're spending weekends at the cafe working rather than resting." Doyoung went on a little mini rant showing his concern towards Jena. "We're friends now. I'm supposed to worry."

Jena smiled at him, touched by his statement. She then started packing up her belongings and stood up. Doyoung had no clue what she was doing. "Where are you going?"

"You said I needed rest." Jena turned back to him with a beaming smile. "Let's go home. I want to ditch my last class today. Maybe get some more sleep."

Doyoung got up from his seat and pushed both the chairs back into a table and followed her out of the library. "Sounds like something I would do. Let's go."

Doyoung and Jena were in Doyoung's car with Jena in the passenger and Doyoung as the driver. Jena quickly fell asleep in the car. When Doyoung parked at the apartment garage, he turned to the girl who was fully asleep. He didn't have a choice but he carried her from the car up to the apartment and up to their bedroom, including their backpacks.

Once Doyoung was able to settle into the apartment. He carried Jena to her bedroom and placed her on the bed gently. He covered her duvet over her entire body and he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Doyoung spent some time observing Jena. He saw that her expression was fatigued, knowing that she doesn't get a lot of sleep. He was getting worried and kept in mind to pay attention to Jena more. After all, they were apartment mates/roommates.

Later he left her room and closed the door softly so that he wouldn't wake up the sleeping girl.

Jena woke up a couple of hours later, yawning. One thing she realized that she was in her bedroom.

Did Doyoung carry me to my room?

Jena's cheeks flustered red at the thought but quickly dismissed it, getting out of her bed. She checked the time seeing that it was 6:16 pm, meaning that it was dinner time. She went to the kitchen, grabbed some ingredients for her dinner. She even thought about making some for Doyoung too.

"How was you nap?" Doyoung walked up to Jena at the kitchen while she was cooking her deonjang jjigae on the stove, giving herself a taste test before serving.

"Pretty good." Jena got some broth with her food and fed it to Doyoung, he tried it immediately. He made an mmmh sound, indicating that it was good. "Want some? I made extra for you."

"Yeah." Doyoung went to the cabinets to grab bowls for the two. "Thanks."

"No problem." Jena served the soups in the two bowls and they both sat at the island table in silence eating. It wasn't an awkward silence but it was peaceful.

"You know, you're not a bad roommate at all." Jena spit her thoughts out all of the sudden. Doyoung stopped eating and mentally gave himself a smile, seeing that Taeyong's idea wasn't too bad.

"You're not so bad of a roommate yourself too."
