Jena decided to come back to the apartment after taking off work. She already went back to Jeno's place to get her stuff and she was now at the apartment. When she opened the door, she didn't hear any noises. She can conclude that Doyoung was either out or sleeping. She didn't bother checking his room and went to her own instead, unpacking her small luggage.

She also placed the dress she bought the other day into her closet, nicely placing it. It was definitely more distinctive than all her other clothes in the closet. After packing, she decided to grab a quick snack.

Jena made her way out of bedroom and at the same time the door opened. Doyoung was home and he didn't see her until he took off his shoes and placed it on the shoe rack. He stood frozen across from Jena who was also frozen.

"Are you going to just stand there or are you going to move?" Doyoung spat out at her. He was in a terrible mood after his typical dinner.

Jena saw the dark demeanor in Doyoung's eyes as she trembled under his stare. Her foot made her instinctively turn around and back into her room. She lost her appetite for her late night snack and decided to go to sleep instead.

After watching Jena turn around and closing her bedroom door. Doyoung sighed due to being anxious and when he looked at Jena in the eyes, he saw the tears brimming in her eyes. Knowing her, he knew she tried so hard to keep it in. He then went to his own room to sleep the heartache he was having or tried to.

Doyoung and Jena went to school separately for the next couple of days. They barely saw each other especially when Jena barely came for lunch. Alice and Jungwoo have tried to convince her to come even with pulling the 'Doyoung's not there' card. Jena wasn't in the mood.

"Doyoung this is all your fucking fault." Alice rolled her eyes, plopping down on her seat next to Jaehyun.  "Now she won't sit at lunch with us."

"I'm just doing Jena a favor." Doyoung sneered back at Alice bitterly, minding his own business. "She can't get down on the wrong path."

"How can you guarantee that she can get hurt? What happened to Eunjin was inevitable. No one couldn't control it." Alice scowled back him and she took her belongings away with her, leaving the table. "You're a coward."

"Alice!" Jaehyun tried calling her out but she didn't hear him. Instead he sat back down. "Honestly, I'm not mad at the fact that you made Alice walk away. But I'm mad at the fact that you're giving up on Jena."

"We're all mad." Yuta chimed in at the lunch table, just sitting down. All of the guys looked at him confused. "Wait, what are we mad about?"

Johnny rolled his eyes. "We're all mad that our bunny here is giving up on a girl because his ex-girlfriend died in a car accident."

"Johnny!" Taeyong exclaimed, not trying to bring up the situation to Doyoung for the millionth time. He already saw that Doyoung tensed up just by hearing the tragedy. "Your feelings for her are strong. Your heart is hurting because you're pushing her away and we can visibly see it on your face."

"I'm always like this." Doyoung crossed his arms, grunting back at Taeyong.

"Not you're not." Taeyong deadpanned, knowing that Doyoung is lying.

"Yes I am." Doyoung fought back.

"Not when you're with a happy Jena." Taeyong fought back against Doyoung and Doyoung remained silent. Taeyong let out a slight smirk of victory.

"I mean to be honest Doyoung. There's nothing to be scared about. You just need to take the chance." Hanseol shrugged, trying to add a piece of honest.

Jungwoo was visibly quiet which was odd to Doyoung. He looked like he was nervous about something. Doyoung wanted to interrogate him. "Is there something you want to tell me Jungwoo?"

"Nope." Jungwoo quickly replied, pretending that Doyoung wasn't shooting daggers at him. "Everyone already made their point." Jungwoo quickly diverted back to the topic.

Why does it sound like Jungwoo is hiding something from us?

"Whatever." Doyoung tried to end the conversation. "My decision still stands." Doyoung got up from the lunch table and left, leaving everyone in absolute silence.

"He definitely won't like it once Song Minjae has his hands on Jena. I heard he's making his way around other women in the university." Johnny plopped a chip in his mouth.

"Oh don't worry. Jena's been warned." Jaehyun chimed in and everyone turned to him. He shrugged. "What? We told her about the tragedy. She had to know sooner or later."

Taeyong facepalmed. Johnny sipped on his drink. Yuta's mouth opened. Hanseol's eyes widened. Jungwoo was unbothered because he was there when Alice told Jena about it.

"God damn it, Choi Alice."

Turns out, for the past few days of school, Jena decided to sit with Jeno, Mark, Haechan, and Erin at the school rooftop. No one was up there so it was pretty peaceful.

"Do you guys sit here all the time?" Jena curiously asked while she ate her ham and cheese sandwich. They were all sitting on a bench together.

"Most of the time because people in this university gossip too much. Sometimes we eat with our friends. Erin doesn't come to often since she's a social butterfly." Jeno responded to his sister while eating his rice protein bowl.

"It's also a great breather from all the terrible classes and homework." Haechan talked honestly earning a laugh from everyone.

"I also can bully all of them more." Erin smiled very brightly, knowing it was a tease.

"So bullying us at home is not enough?" Mark turned to his girlfriend.

"Nope." Erin kept the same smile making Jena laugh.

"Anyways, lunch period is gonna end." Jeno packed his lunch. "Let's head to class."

Jena finished her classes for the day and went to continue to reconstruct her project. Jungwoo was there with her helping her finished the project. They were so close to finishing but got tired after night approached. They needed to add a few more things next week when the project is due and Jena was all set.

"Oh my god! We're almost there." Jena gave Jungwoo a high five. "We did it!"

"You did it Jena." Jungwoo gave her a supportive message. "After all, the project was your construction in the first place. I'm so proud of you for not giving up."

"Aww." Jena got all sentimental. "Thanks Jungwoo."

"No problem." Jungwoo checked the time seeing it wasn't too late. It was also pitch black outside since it was night time. "Do you want to grab dinner? Neither of us haven't eaten yet since lunch period."

"Don't you have a dinner with your girlfriend?" Jena cocked her eyebrow and placed her hands on her hips.

"She asked you to join. It's also Korean Barbecue. You also need to eat, girlie." Jungwoo sassed at Jena, leaving her speechless.

"Okay Jungwoo, but remember, I'm paying this time." Jena marched up to him to jokingly threaten him.

Jungwoo lifted his hands up, surrendering to the older. "Okay okay, I got it. No need to be so aggressive."

"I'm not aggressive."
