Doyoung came up the front desk of Jena's hospital floor the next day after staying a night with her on the couch of her hospital room in case anything happened.

"Jena's discharge papers have already been signed by herself but there's already someone who's willing to be responsible for her." The front desk member told Doyoung. He was slightly confused but then he looked over to Jeno who was basically helping Jena walk out of the hospital. He smiled.

"No worries, thank you sir." Doyoung bowed to the front desk person and went near them. Jeno reassured him that he'll be fine taking Jena home since Doyoung had told Jeno that he had personal errands to run today, leaving the two siblings. All he could hope is that their relationship is fixed.

Jena was sad to see Doyoung go, but at least her brother was on her side. Jena honestly felt very awkward walking alongside Jeno, especially the fact that his features have matured and seems to look scarier on the outside now.

Jena also got a refill on her medications so that she doesn't forget to take them. Jeno and Jena are now in the car so that he can drive her home.

"You've became colder." Those were the first things Jeno said to Jena, who was looking out the window of the passenger seat with a dull expression, unresponsive.

"I don't trust that many people." Jena bitterly spoke. It wasn't loud, but it was loud enough for Jeno to hear. "My first two years of college weren't the greatest." She ended her statement like that.

Jeno took a heavy breath, looking at his sister while remaining silent. He didn't realize until now that Jena was going through a lot. He pulled up to the apartment garage and parked. Jena didn't bother moving to get out of the car mainly because she was tired, slowly closing her eyes to rest.

"I'm sorry."

Jena's eyes lightened up and she turned to Jeno who looked at her in tranquility and sympathy. He was also sad and she could tell judging by his expression. She knew when her brother was truly sad and she was shocked that he meant it. "I should've been a better younger brother for all these past years. I was.... jealous... I guess?"

Jena was utterly confused because she didn't know what Jeno would be jealous about. "What makes you think that?"

"You stood out in school, even when you played volleyball. I was just mad that I didn't get the same recognition even when I was playing soccer when we were young, but I guess I wasn't outgoing. You were the family favorite, I wasn't." Jeno explains his side to Jena. He would expect Jena to get mad, but instead, she placed her hand on his.

"Oh, my baby brother Jeno. You were always number 1 in my heart. I always wanted to make sure that you were cared for even when mom and dad were literally in the process of getting a divorce. It's my duty." Jena smiled at him, slightly fatigued cause she was tired from the hospital. "If it helps, I forgive you."

Jeno pulled Jena into a hug, finally reuniting with her. If he didn't take Doyoung's advice, nothing would've gone better. Jena hugged him back, now happy that they're on good terms. No more fighting.

"Okay, I need to get going now. I'm supposed to be sleeping and not going to school for a few days." Jena released the hug, bidding goodbye to Jeno. "Get some sleep too."

"Please rest and don't overwork yourself big sis." Jeno reminded Jena so that she doesn't do it. He knew she tends to work more than she should at once.

"I won't this time, now that you're the one telling me what to do."

Doyoung pulled up at his family mansion, the last place he wanted to be ever. His parents never devoted him time but compensated by giving him money to have his own apartment and pay for his university tuition. He had an internship on the side, but it was part-time and remote.

It was all business and show for his parents and at this point he just gave up and prayed that they would have a normal relationship. His brother Donghyun wasn't helpful either since he studied business too. Doyoung was the only one who chose Information Technology.

"We have our annual business gala soon with all the business we've worked with." Mrs. Kim sipped her cup of tea. The four members of the family were sitting at the dining table, talking. "Do my two sons have a woman to bring? You know that's always important when it comes to making business with other companies."

"I will be bringing Cho Arin as usual. You guys know her very well already since I've brought her for the last 3 years." Donghyun showed off as usual and Doyoung's couldn't care less, mentally wanting to punch his older brother.

"How about you my other son? Do you have a woman to bring? I'm sure you have choices. It's been 2 years since you last dated Eunjin?" Mrs. Kim's voice was unbearable to her son. He wanted to shut his eyes after hearing that name. His parents weren't aware that they broke up but knew about her death.

"I have a potential candidate." Doyoung lied so that his mother wouldn't interrogate him again. Mrs. Kim clapped happily. "Great, I would love to meet her. After all she can help with the business too."

Business business business, I don't care.

He wished his father was here since he was relatively closer to his father. Unfortunately, his father is on a business trip and sometimes he would call and text Doyoung, but it doesn't last very long.

Doyoung stood up from the dining table. "I'm going to go home right now."

Mrs. Kim and Donghyun said bye to him without any suspicion. Doyoung was escorted out by their valet driver who waited and honestly his mind was all over the place.

Who could he possibly ask to bring with him to his family's business gala? He knew Alice would go for fun, but Jaehyun would be against the idea. Erin was out of the choices list. He considered Haein but she's too busy of a woman to even do such things. Plus, Haein hates dealing with high class people. There was only one option left for him.

Jena.

Doyoung got into his car after the valet driver pulled in front of him at the front of his house. He entered the driver's seat, closing the door. He pinched the bridge of his nose, praying that another choice would come up, but there isn't.

Doyoung started driving home, thinking whether or not if it was a good idea to take Jena. She barely knew about his life and he knew that. He didn't want Jena to get involved especially knowing that his mother is very picky on his women. He remembered that his mother didn't like Eunjin too much because she was studying Psychology. Maybe she would like an engineerer this time.

It's worth a try to ask Jena, he finally thought arriving back to his shared apartment with the girl. It wouldn't hurt right?
