Finally, the fog in Donnie's head cleared and he could open his eyes fully. He blinked against the bright light above his head and groaned when a migraine came busting in. His body still felt heavy and sluggish, but his mind was already working again.

"Welcome to the land of the living," a rasping voice said.

Donnie turned his head to see a strange creature sitting on a hoverboard-like thing. It looked more like a brain or a piece of chewed-up gum, and Donnie pulled a face. The creature ignored it and continued with whatever it was doing. Its tentacle-like arms fiddled with machines and Donnie realized he was lying on the medical table. He turned his head the other way to see a wide-eyed Cass behind glass. She looked pissed, though, and banged her hands against the glass.

Donnie couldn't hear her, but he guessed she was cursing out the blob of gum.

"Who are you?" Donnie asked, turning back to the creature.

It stopped to look at him and grin. Donnie felt a shiver run up his naked shell and he didn't like it. The creature came closer and pulled all sorts of devices from the hoverboard. Donnie didn't like where this was going.

"I wanted to catch all of you, but I only got you and this useless human girl," the creature said, gesturing to Cass. "My revenge on the turtles will be swift, even with only you here to help me."

"I won't help you with a damn thing," Donnie declared.

He didn't need to know any plans from this creature to know that they were all bad and that people were in danger, mainly him and his brothers. He snarled at the creature as it came closer, but it wasn't deterred.

"Don't worry, you won't remember a thing," it said, shoving something closer.

Donnie inched away on the table, but he was strapped down and couldn't quite get out of range. Something poked him in the back of his neck and Donnie grunted. He glanced at Cass to see her banging on the glass harder, her face desperate. Donnie shot her an apologetic look before a jolt of electricity made him black out instantly.

OOO

Mr. O'Neil was called in as quickly as possible and he brought with him Jack Kurtzman. Both had taken a look at Mikey and determined that he needed actual medical attention. April had instantly called Bishop, who showed up minutes later through a portal with a whole medical team. They'd taken Mikey to Dimension X, only to return with him ten minutes later. Mikey came through the portal looking a lot more healed.

Raph was confused. "What just happened, how is he so healed?"

Bishop turned to him, face blank of emotions. "Time flows differently in our dimension. He's been with us for about five days now."

"But it's been ten minutes!" Raph exclaimed in confusion.

"Indeed," Bishop simply said.

Raph was so confused, he felt like he might blow his brains out. Mikey on the other hand, seemed perfectly fine, plastron and neck wrapped in stark white bandages. But he could at least move around again and hopped up on Raph's shell for a hug. Raph hugged him back, glad he was better.

"I felt Donnie!" Mikey exclaimed when Raph set him down.

It was a loud statement that made everyone freeze where they stood. Leonardo turned to him with a confused look and even Bishop seemed surprised. Raph was just as confused. How could Mikey have felt Donnie? He wasn't anywhere close to them? Unless... Raph felt his eyes widen.

"Well shit," Casey mumbled from the sidelines.

"What?" Mikey asked innocently.

Michelangelo pulled him aside for a quick once over about Dimension X and Raph watched Mikey's face pale. Then his little brother turned to him, confused and scared.
