"Gin!" His childhood friend slapped his back and made a move to trap his neck in a headlock. Thankfully, he saw that move coming from miles away and dodged the strong arms that enclosed the space his head once was.

"Akio," Gin acknowledged with a huff. He rolled his shoulders and rubbed the area where his friend had just hit. He brushed off the invisible dust and made an expression that one could only say was similar to a look of annoyance, as if Akio was a pest. "Couldn't you be nicer to this injured soul?"

Akio snorted, trying to disguise his laugh as a cough.

He failed miserably.

"Yeah, right." He laughed, tilting his head towards the train as he offered Gin a bright grin. "Off you go! To the great beyond!!"

Gin groaned, rolling his eyes so hard he thinks he saw the back of his brain. "I say that one time, and you never let go of it."

Akio brought a fist to his own chest, right above his heart. "Of course not! What kind of friend would I be if I didn't remember every single embarrassing moment that you've contributed to?"

"A great one," Gin said dryly. "You'd be saving me from the agony of having that quoted."

The man responded with a childish and overdramatic pout. At this point, the man was really trying to get on Gin's nerves. "Well, that wouldn't be fun at all, would it? I'm such a wonderful friend!" He made a heart with his hands. "I suffer second-hand embarrassment with you! What a great friendship this is!!"

"Fuck off."

"Gladly!" Akio chirped. "But I'm not moving a single inch."

Gin crossed his arms and raised a brow.

Akio had the audacity to smile. He either signed a deal with the devil today, or he didn't care for living to see the light of tomorrow. "You're the one getting on the train my friend, not me!"

"My parents would have my head if they realised that I still haven't gotten married yet." He lamented, shrugging his shoulders.

Gin sighed, feeling the sudden yet not unfamiliar urge to murder his "good pal" as Akio would call it. Instead, he cracked his knuckles and pretended to raise his hand up to punch the red-haired fellow. A devilish grin settled on his face, making the other man instantly pale and back away a few steps.

"Get out of here." Gin bit out, eyes filled with a warning as he lowered his arm to bring it into a stretching position. "You've got twenty seconds to run."

"H-Hey!" Akio's voice cracked as he shook his head side to side, waving his arms in front of him. "W-We're at a train station, you can't do this...!"

"Make that ten seconds left." Gin responded.

Akio immediately bolted and headed straight for the nearest flight of stairs, "Say hello to my parents for meeeeeeeeee.......!!!!"

As his voice grew smaller, Gin could vaguely hear his friend screaming something along the lines of "I send you off and this is how you betray me?!?!".

Gin laughed to himself before he picked up his luggage, consisting of two large backs and a black case. With a small smile on his face, he got on the train that would take him to the place he grew up in.

His hometown. Thereby making it Akio's hometown too.

Gin fiddled with the straps of his bag. What he wouldn't give just to not go back.

Alas, he didn't really have a choice.
