The sound of someone blowing a cigar was heard. The smoke began flowing with the wind.

???: Edogawa Ranpo.

Ranpo opens his eyes to blink it twice before turning around and throwing the cigar off the balcony, and waves with a smile.

Ranpo: What is it this time, Makima-san?

Makima: I need to know now, what devils you have made a contract with?

The detective snorts, closing hiaa eyes and giving out a smirk before approaching the lady.

Ranpo: What makes you think I've made a contract with several devils?

The red-head closes her eyes and continues to smile calmly yet creepily.

Makima: Tell me, now.

Ranpo walks past Makima, leaving her at the balcony as he sits down on his comfortable couch.

Ranpo: Nope~♡!

Makima: Let's make a deal, then? Tell me One of the devil's you've made a contract with and I'll tell you mine.

The short detective stayed silent for a while before scratching his head.

Ranpo: Ehh, you see, I already know your devil, but I'll tell you something.

The red haired lady perked up and listened attentively, keeping her composure.

Ranpo: While I helped solve cases and identify different types of devils, I tamed them. They are all now loyal to me, but of course I wouldn't make a contract with them! Well, I did with 3. But that's all, even the chainsaw devil you're so interested in has been researched by me.

Ranpo: But I had to delete all the info on it because I knew someone would be targeting it. Meh, that's all!

Makima: "Interesting. Maybe I can squeeze a little more information off him..."

Makima: You haven't told me 1 devil you've made a contract with.

He stays silent for a while before crossing his legs and smacking both his hands on his lap, smiling.

Ranpo: Well...One of them, is the Nightmare Devil. Won't tell you the details, any more questions, Makima-san?

Makima: You're willing to answer my questions? Oh well, I have 2. How did you manage to tame those devils?

Ranpo: Meh, I dunno. I just somehow overpower all of them, even without using my devil powers!

The short detective had an annoyed face, remembering all the times when he could easily beat them and would spare them.

Makima: Also, how do you even tame them?

Ranpo: Eh, don't worry about it. It's already midnight, let's take a break! I'm sleepy. All my dreams involve eating candies, thanks to this nightmare devil who keeps the bad stuff away from my mind!

The manipulative red head giggles before bowing and exiting his house.

Ranpo: "Now I can finally sleep in my own bed!"
