Once it had reached floor 4, the doors automatically opened to show 2 opposite males.

One was tall, quiet and serious while the other was short, loud and childish.

Ranpo: Hey, when can we get out of hereee! Those zombies touched my pack of skittles! Not the skittles!

Aki: Later, after we avenge Himeno-senpai...

The short one had a sad and annoyed face, but shrugged his expression off as he steps out of the elevator with Aki.

•...SILENCE...•

Ranpo: By the way, nice shoes.

Aki: Huh? Oh...Thank you. "Complimenting me out of the blue? What a startle."

They both continued walking and finally, past one single room. Ranpo was way behind Aki, carelessly drooping around with his hands behind his back.

The sound of a door shoving open had just been displayed. A man came out of the room and pulled out his gun, shooting Aki who quickly shifted his head to the right.

Aki: Edogawa!

Ranpo: Yup!

Right after being called, jumped up slammed the man down, before stealing some money from him.

Ranpo: Heh, 16 thousand yen. Not much, but I can buy lots of snacks with this. More importantly, candies! Thank you, dead man. I'll treasure thi-

Aki: Edogawa, watch out.

As if on cue, four more people exited from a single room and aimed an AK-47, a small submachine gun and the other two, with regular pistols.

The short detective frowns and sighs, ready to whine Aki's ears out while the taller just readied up his sword, looking at the gunners sternly.

Randomly, all of them had nosebleeds and began falling one by one.

The two had finally made it to the Snake Devil woman, as to which Ranpo just found out her name, Sawatari. (Bruh i forgot, is this the name?)

Aki walked closer until they were at about the length of a 7-20 meter devil. Ranpo stayed back, almost ten footsteps away.

Aki: Come along quietl-

Sawatari: Snake. Spit it out.

The area suddenly grew flowery, leaving Aki to cover his head as defense. The smaller one, however, was making a challenge with himself called, "Catch all the flowers"!

Aki: Damn it.

Ranpo: Isn't that the Ghost Devil?

A big devil was now on in front of Aki and Ranpo, Himeno's devil for short.

G H O S T     D E V I L . . .

Sawatari: You know, Aki. Ranpo. The main goal was to steal Denji's heart for the Gun Devil, but it's had a change of plans. It wants Denji's heart and Edogawa Ranpo. Ghost, kill Aki Hayakawa.

The ghost devil does as told, but Aki slices off and dodges all the limbs thrown at him. In the process of all the chaotic movements, Ranpo had been caught up with it.

The detective jumps, squats, moves left and right or basically just dodged all the unnecessary and unintentional attacks laid on him.

Sawatari: He's gotten better over time. I don't know much about Edogawa Ranpo, though.

In a few minutes, Ghost Devil managed to beat Aki and carried him, moving him closer towards its mouth.

*BOOM.*

All the limbs of the Ghost Devil disappeared in an instant. Sawatari and Aki were shocked, they looked for whoever did that and saw Ranpo sitting on a chair that came from nowhere.

Ranpo: What?

Sawatari/Aki: ...

Ranpo: I just did some simple attacks, plus! It'll regenerate quickly. Remember?

Right on time, the arms all slowly threw back out from it's head and pulled out an arm in front of Aki.

It had another hand fisted up in front of a confused Ranpo.

It opened both of its hands, to reveal a cigarette and a Warhammer candy.

Ranpo: What? Oh, that's right. She promised to give this to me if I could help buy her beer...Classic Himeno! Thinking she can beat me in the sour-candy eating challenge, heh.

Aki: A...Cigarette...

Ranpo took what was on Ghost Devil's hand, and so did Aki. The short detective opened the wrapper and was about to eat it until he saw a small note taped to the wrapper.

"Just know that these little things are sour as hell, and I ate three of them in a go! If you can't even handle one, you'll never ever beat me!

-From your most loved ❤️ Himeno!

Ranpo read it with half lidded eyes, curving his lips into a small and sad genuine smile.

Aki sighed, before casually strolling underneath the Ghost devil and then climbing up one of its arms.

He was now on the neck. He pulls up his sword and stabs it, smoothly slicing it off.

Sawatari stood there, absolutely flabbergasted at what she's just witnessed.

"That's right, sir Hayakawa is the best!" That encouraging voice was heard from Ranpo.

Aki: Don't kill her.

What he said was so random and out of the blue, but of course, Ranpo understood what he meant.

A once easily startled girl was holding a knife up on Sawatari's neck.

Sawatari: Snake-! ....

Once Sawatari found out she had nothing to do, she hopelessly and slowly put her hand down.

Ranpo: Quick question, Kobeni-chan, why did you stay?

He had to increase his voice a lot, being so far away from everyone.

Kobeni: Well, bonuses are coming up...So...

930 words. Short chapter, next chapter will be the last for the anime. Also, I made this on the spot in 20-40 minutes, so please forgive me, I'm gonna go to bed and wake up at 1pm as usual now.
