Meredith
WE WALK INTO the dining area and see Andrea entering inside the prison. She waves her hands to Carol and they hug tightly.
"I saw you go down, I thought you were gone." Carol sighs. Andrea breaks the hug and smiles at her. Her eyes look around and she spots Daryl and I. I have her a nod and she returns the gesture.
"Hershel, my god." Andrea gasps, seeing him standing on one leg. "I can't believe this. Where's Shane?" She asks. The silence gave her the answer. "And Lori?" She asks.
"She had a girl. Lori didn't survive." Hershel informs her.
"Neither did T-Dog." Maggie adds.
"I'm so sorry." Andrea says. Her eyes turn to Carl. "Carl." She sighs. "You all live here?" She asks.
"Here and the cell block." Glenn nods.
"There?" Andrea asks, pointing to the cells. "Can I go in?" She asks, walking towards the door, but Rick steps in front of her.
"I won't allow that." He says.
"I'm not an enemy, Rick." Andrea claims.
"We had that field and courtyard." Rick says. "until your boyfriend tore down the fence with a truck and shot us up."
"He said you fired first." She shakes her head.
"Well, he's lying." I say.
"He killed an inmate who survived in here." Hershel informs.
"We liked him. He was one of us." Daryl adds.
"I didn't know anything about that." Andrea claims. "As soon as I found out, I came. I didn't even know you were in Woodbury until after the shoot-out."
"That was days ago." Glenn tells her.
"I told you, I came as soon as I could." She says. She spins around on her feet and looks at Michonne. "What have you told them?" She questions.
"Nothing." Michonne answers.
"I don't get it. I left Atlanta with you people and now I'm the odd man out?" Andrea questions.
"He almost killed Michonne and he would've killed us." Glenn says.
"With his finger on the trigger." She argues, pointing at Merle. "Isn't he the one who kidnapped you? Who beat you?" She let's out a sigh. "Look, I cannot excuse or exlpain hat Philip has done. But I am trying to bring us together. We have to work this out."
"There's nothing to work out." Rick denies. "We're gonna kill him. I don't know how or when, but we will."
"We can settle this." Andrea nods. "There is room at Woodbury for all of you." Merle fills the room with laughter.
"You know better than that." He says.
"What makes you think this man wants to negotiate?" Hershel asks. "He did he say that?"
"No." Andrea shakes her head.
"Then why did you come here?" Rick asks.
"Because he's gearing up for war." She informs. "The people are terrified. They see you as killers. They're training to attack."
"I'll tell you what. Next time you see Philip, tell him I'm gonna take his other eye." Daryl threatens. "We're taken too much shit for too long. He wants a war? He's got one."
"Rick. If you don't sit down and try to work this out, I don't know what's gonna happen." Andrea says. "He has a whole town. Look at you. You've lost so much already. You can't stand alone anymore."
