Pairing - Qin Yi x OC

Notes - Modern AU

It was late afternoon when I arrived at my office.

Yesterday, I had finished another play, so today, I would read reviews and open gifts from fans.

I let out a staggered breath.

From the frosted window, I gazed at passing cars in traffic. People were bustling about in the snowed streets of Cloudcrest, trying to quickly get to a place of warmth. Teenagers with backpacks were slowly taking over the crowds. School was out for Starsnow, which was coming up in two weeks.

For a couple of seconds, I stared in envy at their exhilarated faces, their backpacks glinting with keychains from many types of media (Some with my face on it), and the way they could touch each other without slightly flinching.

Perhaps, in another universe...

I feel like laughing. There was no use crying now.

I have everything I want. At the same time, I have nothing.

A soft exhale slip my lips. I lazily eyed the stacks of paper and envelopes on my desk.

My shoulders lifted and I dragged myself over to them. My hands steadily start to taking one paper from the stack at a time.

To be someone loved, you must give love back themselves. That why I must take my time reading fan letters, so I can reply back with the answer they want.

The answer they wanted from "Qin Yi".

I care a lot about what my supporters think about me. My eyes slightly droop. It's a tiring experience that all...

A knock on the door lifts me up from my gradual daze into fan letters. A gust of wind brush my leg. For some reason, I now have a slight rush of energy.

"Come in."

A servant enter the room, his face slightly dripped with sweat.

"Uh, master. We have one more present from a fan, but..."

He scratched the back of his neck, "It's quite big...You will have to go down there yourself to open it..."

My head slightly tilted.

Now, I knew some of my fans were a little too...charmed by me.

It doesn't surprise me. However, it's new for a fan to sent me something that can't even be brought upstairs. I'm quite curious of this fan's present now.

And...Ahem, I could use a small break...

I followed the servant downstairs. On the last serval steps, I turn my head to glance at the present to see a box about the size of a small cabinet. There was a small sticky note that rest on it.

-From your biggest fan!

I heard you been struggling with scheduling conflicts lately! So I bought you this! It a robot that should help you clean clutter~! Don't push yourself too hard! I love you, Qin Yi!

-Love biggest fan! Sincerely biggest fan! We care about you!

"Oh, a cleaning robot?" The servant started, "I heard that North Kingdom has been mass manufacturing these lately."

North Kingdom? That's unexpected, but it strangely fits them. They're a technologically advanced nation after all.

"I heard they're really good..." the servant placed a hand on his chin, "You only need to show them around the house, tell them any specific rules, and charge them in when they're finished," he was looking off into space now.
