Kathy's POV
"Caleb!?" What is he doing here? I gave the girl her stuff back. Luke helped me up. I turned around and saw Caleb a bit shocked, which made me giggle.
The girl stood up and had a confused face. "Caled?" She asked. "Babe this is my sister Katherine but we call her Kathy instead. That guy next to her is Luke. And Kathy this is Agnes, we've been dating for almost 2 weeks." He explained.
"Caleb said he'd let me meet you someday but I think not in an
accident" she said with a wide smile. "Well it's nice to meet you too, and I'm sorry again bumping you" I said and pulled her into a hug.
After that little accident, the four of us walked around the mall and me and Agnes talked a bit. I checked my phone and it was already 5:00pm. I guess time really does fly by when your having fun. Luke dropped me off at my place and Caleb said he'll come home after he takes Agnes home.
"See you on next Saturday then?" I said. "What about tomorrow?" He asked. "Mom will be home and we need to clean the house tomorrow" I explained. "Okay then see next Saturday" he said making a cute sad expression that made me giggle.
"Oh, don't be sad Lukey" I said, and kissed him. "There, better?" I said pulling away. He pulled me into another kiss but this one lasted a bit longer than the first one. "Now it is" he said pulling away. "Bye Luke" I said as he walks to his car.
After Luke drove off I ran to my room and changed into pajama shorts and a tank top. I walk downstairs to the kitchen to grab some of mom's homemade yogurt.
I heard the door open and I'm pretty sure it was Caleb. I looked to see who it was and I was right. "do you plan on telling me you were dating someone?" I said from the kitchen. "Well, I was gonna tell you tomorrow with mom but I guess you beat me to it" he said. "Oh really?" I said in sarcasm.
"I met her at Starbucks since that were she works there and we kinda had this kinda spark when our eyes met" he said. The were he said their had a spark made laugh a little cause it's kinda cliche.
We were watching tv trying to wait for mom. We started getting a bit worried when it was already 11:30pm and mom always comes home exactly 11:00pm. I was about to fall asleep but then I heard Caleb's phone ringing
Caleb's POV
I was starting to get into the show we were watching but then my phone started ringing. "Hello?" I asked. "Hello, is this Mark Caleb Harrison?" Said the caller. "Yes, who is this?" I said, walking to my room.
"This is Leah, I work with your mom" she said. "Oh okay, why did you call?" I said trying to cut to the chase. "Your mother got into a car accident on her way home, so I thought you were the first person I should call" she said. I was almost in tears when she told me. I just hung up and stood there in shock
Kathy's POV
It's been more than five minutes since Caleb left to answer his phone.
Finally, Caleb came back dressed in his pants and a shirt, and came running down as fast as he could. "Where are you going?" I said in confusion. "Listen, mom got into a car accident on her way home" he said. "What?! I'm coming with you" I said walking to the door.
"No Kathy..." He said grabbing me by my shoulders. "Mom said to leave you here and look after the house" he continued. after fighting Caleb into bringing me with him, I finally gave up. He drove off and left me here alone.
I had to admit that I was a bit scared sleeping alone. I was looking through the fridge for something to eat when the door bell rang. I was scared to open it but it kept on ringing and ringing, and it was starting to get on my nerves.
"Just a minute!" I yelled. I ran upstairs and grabbed Caleb's baseball bat. I walked to the door and carefully opened it. the person was sitting at the stair way. It was a bit dark but I think I knew who it was.
"Luke?" I said. The guy turned around and I was right, it was Luke. He stood up and started walking towards me. I quickly put my bat behind my back hoping he wouldn't notice me holding it.
He pulled me into a tight hug then kissed me. "What are you doing here?" I said. "Caleb texted me that you were home alone and stay with you until he gets home" he said. "Plus I missed you" he added. "Luke, you were gone for only six hours" I said.
He kissed me quickly and put an arm around my shoulder. "So you think I'm weird now?" He said while we walked inside. I nodded as a response. "Your the one who's holding a baseball bat and you think I'm the weird one" he said and then smirked. "Hey! I thought your a burglar or something" I said pulling away him to lock the front and back door.
"If I was a burglar, the only thing I would steal in here is your heart" he said, and it made me blush. He put his hands around my waist then started to kiss me passionately.
