Kathy's POV
What the heck is Monica doing here?! We just met a yesterday . "Hey Katherine" she said and walked in without waiting for my response. "Kathy! I was wondering if we coul- " he stopped when he my unexpected guest. "Monica? is that you?" Wait a sec. Luke knows her?
"You know each other?" I asked them. "Luke was like my best friend since 3rd grade. Didn't he tell you?" she said. "I guess he didn't" I said, and gave her a fake smile. "We were in high school when she left without saying goodbye" said Luke. "But let's just put it all in the past" she said and giggled.
"We have so much catching up to do" they sat on MY couch and started chatting. Luke sat on left edge of the couch and Monica sat next to him in the middle, so I ended up sitting at the right edge of the couch as far away from them. I sat there and scrolled through different channels.
"Katherine, can I have something to drink please. Thank you" she said shortly and went straight back to Luke. I stood up and walked to the kitchen to get them a glass of water.
I came back and gave them the water. I went upstairs to my room and Luke didn't even notice I left. I started texting Jenny telling her what was currently happening. I didn't bother to text Sammy cause I think she's still on her date with Ashton. After a few minutes of talking to Jenny, I fell asleep.
I felt someone shaking me and calling my name. I immediately knew who it was, and it couldn't be Caleb cause he's out with his friends. "Go away!" I said, putting a pillow over my face. "Come on Kathy. Monica already left and it's only 10 in the morning." He said .
"Fine" I sat up but I was definitely not in a good mood. "What's with the sad face?" He asked, and sat next to me. I didn't give him an answer, instead I moved a few inches away from Luke. "Your jealous, aren't you?" He said.
"No I'm not! I'm just not in a good mood" I protested. "Yes you are" he moved close wrapping his arm around my shoulders and kissed my cheek. "Babe, you don't have to be jealous of Monica cause we're only friends and you know that" he said, which made me feel a bit better knowing that he understands what's wrong even if I wouldn't tell him.
I laid my head on his shoulder and let out a small smile "I still don't like her though. We only met yesterday and now she comes barging in my house for no reason" I said.
"How about we go out to the mall or something" he suggested. "Sound like a plan to me" I sat up and smiled. "I was starting to miss that smile of yours" he said, then kissed me and I definitely kissed back. "Can you please get out of my room so I can change?" I said, breaking the kiss. he nodded and left.
I changed into a black crop top that says 'geek' in gold lettering, white skinny jeans, and my black low cut converse. I put on lite make up and put my hair into loose curls at the end. I grabbed small black shoulder bag and put important stuff like my phone, money and house keys
I walked downstairs and saw Luke sitting at the sofa waiting for me. "ready to go?" He asked, and I nodded in response. We got to his car and drove off. I turned the radio on and a one direction song came in, so I started humming it.
I ended up humming every song that I came up cause I'm a terrible singer. We were walking around the mall a bit thinking of what to do. "Can have lunch first" I suggested. "Yeah, sure, I'm a bit hungry myself" he said.
We ate at Nando's then we went to forever 21 but nothing really got my attention. We continued walking around the mall until like decided to watch a movie. I didn't care what the movie was as long as it wasn't scary.
In the middle of the movie, I felt an arm slowly creep around my shoulders. I laid my head on his shoulder and trying my best not to fall asleep.
A few hours the movie was done and I didn't fall asleep. Yay! We were walking around with Luke never letting go of my hand since the movie ended. I bumped into a girl which made her drop her shopping bags. "Oh! I'm so sorry" I said and helped her pick up her stuff. "Hey babe, what happened?" Someone said standing behind the girl I bumped into. I looked up and I was shocked to find who it was.
