Welp... here we are!
Lizardstripe woke up from his coma a few days ago and whole clan is in distress, the cranky old elder has been having nightmares and hallucinations about his trauma in "FoxClan" and seeing his fellow elders get drowned with him.
I know the cranky elder must be hurting and confused. The home he once had and the cats he grew up with collapsed in front of him all at once. How could that feel?
All the cats around him are showing their sympathy, giving pity looks, whispering when Parsleyseed brings him out to get fresh air.
I don't give the elder my sympathy because I know how to feels to be clustered by others sympathy as if you're nothing but a pain toy for Starclan to play with.
When Willownose died, I over worked myself and did nothing but train and I thought that would help the pain go away. But every thought, every cat, every leaf, everything in this Starclan cursed forest reminded me of my mother.
Jumping into the clearing. Hearing Leafpaw let out a wail of dread. My eyes following to see a brown she-cat laid down on the grass. Blood soaking it crimson red.
That's an image that not even Starclan's best medicine cats can cure a cat of.
"Silentpaw!" Snowpebble yowled from below, with a stomp of his white paw. I was laying down outside of the apprentice den, front paws crossed, and tail flicking at my side. Snowpebble was by the fresh kill pile with a shrew at his paw, while looking up at me.
"Last shrew! If you don't come get it I'll be happily to throw it at you're face!" Snowpebble continued while slowly picking up the shrew and slitting his eyes at me, as if I was his prey and he was ready to pounce.
I slowly shifted on to my paws and gave my tail a flick before I started making my way down the rockslide path.
One paw after the other Silentpaw. One paw after the other..
My focus was interrupted by quiet mrrows coming from the direction of the Nursery.
Leapflight and Petalshade were purring with laughter while looking down at Snowpebble, "Looks like that tom finally found a she-cat that fits his paws!" Petalshade smirked while wrapping a protective tail over her round belly.
Leapflight yawned while purring and nodded her agreement, "I wonder what Mouseclaw thinks of Snowpebble and Silentpaw..?" Leapflight mumbled while giving the warriors den a half glance where my father lay at rest after his dawn patrol.
My claws flexed as I stopped in my tracks in front of Snowpebble, the gray tom gave me a curious look before giving the nursery a quick glance and then gesturing towards the thorn tunnel.
I followed him while the fur on the back of my neck raised.
I don't like Snowpebble that way.. I don't want to hurt him if he feels a different way towards me other then friendships. But I like—no. I love Hawk. Not Snowpebble.
Pushing past the last of the thorn tunnel I saw Snowpebble settling down next to high shrubs, just a few fox-lengths away from the thorn tunnel and I slowly followed him.
Sitting down besides the tom, the air around us was heavy.
Snowpebble pushed the shrew he brought with him towards me and I quickly snatched it with my paws and gulped down into its fluff so I could avoid the tension.
"Queens like to gossip, I've been a warrior for moons and my brothers kit is a fully grown warrior." Snowpebble began and I prayed that Starclan would come down now and tell me it's time for me to join them.
